Super happy with my experience with Wentworth & Rose! When I initially reached out, I urgently needed a new property after being let down by a previous estate agent. The team at Wentworth & Rose were incredibly understanding and helpful in speeding up the process, it took no longer than a week! I lived in the property for a year and a half, and they were always prompt in addressing any urgent issues. When my induction hob broke, I received a call the very next day to arrange an appointment for repairs. Everyone I dealt with, Terri-Ann, Torria, and Chelsie, were professional, helpful, and an absolute pleasure to work with. Having rented privately for several years, I can confidently say this has been my best experience with an estate agency. Thank you for making the process so smooth!

She is highly skilled in her field and negotiated exceptionally well on our behalf, expertly ironing out a few bumps along the way. This resulted in a successful sale. At first, Wentworth & Rose seemed professional, but as the process went on, their attitude shifted, almost as if they lost interest and forgot basic courtesy. Communication quickly became overwhelming, with daily emails chasing unnecessary updates, showing little regard for the fact that buyers have both personal and professional lives outside of purchasing a property. While they were quick to respond to emails, arguably the only positive aspect of my experience with them, their true priorities became clear the moment I raised concerns about the property. Instead of addressing legitimate issues highlighted in the building survey, they became defensive, seemingly prioritizing the seller’s interests over mine. The survey exposed serious problems, describing the house as being built to “DIY standards” and in alarming disrepair. Yet, the agency appeared unconcerned about selling a property in such a state. Ultimately, Wentworth & Rose seem to care more about money. Buyers, beware: overpriced, poorly maintained properties and an agency that puts profits over integrity. I would not recommend them.

Emma handled our house sale and she was excellent. We met quite a few agents before going with wentworth and I’m glad we chose them. Emma knew the local market inside out. We had a difficult buyer and Emma was brilliant at chasing them and keeping us up to date. She always answered the phone, or phoned back quickly or replied to emails promptly -this is what you expect, but often doesn’t happen with other estate agencies we have dealt with in the harborne area. There is nothing that she could have done better.

Really mainly with Emma, although all staff were equally helpful, the sale took 9-months in total for various reasons, non of which were related to the agents, however they took complete control and endured strong and active communication tool place at the appropriate times in order to satisfy the chain. Absolutely pathetic and disgusting service. The staff will contradict their previous words without any hesitation or regret. The managing director is the rudest person I have met in the lettings business. Everything is about money. They will extract money by whatever way they can. And when it comes to service and repairs - completely hopeless. I’ve been stuck in emergencies without boiler or heating or working toilet and with no access to the front door but still they will not help out. I do not understand how they are even conducting business and who is regulating them. I am taking the matters higher up. I wish I could give zero or negative stars. Stay well away and save yourself stress and hassle. Absolutely NOT recommended 😡
