Extremely rude and unprofessional people. Selling my property through them and they gave no communication and were extremely poor at contacting people who had viewed... they basically did nothing! When I challenged them on this Katie was unbelievably rude and shouted at me! Absolutely shocking I have never had such a poor experience with any company before. Totally two faced, nice and cheery when they want your business but when they don't perform and you ask why they turn nasty. Avoid at all costs please.

We recently purchased our dream home from Wentworth & Rose using the amazing Sales Director, Emma Parks. Emma was exceptional and was the best we have worked with. Emma did an excellent job with everything. From the initial call up about a property we fell in love with, recommending their in-house mortgage advisor (Dom Whitehouse) and getting to the offer and closing stage relatively quick. Emma did her best to look after us as she was highly knowledgeable, helpful, always contactable, and on the ball with anything that came up. I have used W&R over the last 3 years when letting my property so they were my first port of call when I decided to sell - they helped me let the property each time it came available and achieved record rents for the area/road. When I decided to sell earlier this year, they were really knowledgable and helpful given the changes to legislation at the time. Although it was a really buoyant time in the market, I was nervous about the price we listed the house at and expected to possibly reduce after testing the market- in the first week of viewings, they had 3 people looking to offer asking price! Fantastic, reassuring service throughout the whole sale. In what is really a stressful time, Emma was always ahead on the sales chasing, solicitors etc. and responded quickly which is appreciated when you're working full time. Excellent estate agents. I purchased a buy to let, 7 bed HMO property. It was a complicated sale because it was a neglected property being sold by administrators. Emma Parks was always available throughout the process, chasing things up and going above and beyond to get things sorted. I genuinelly don't think the sale would have completed without her. Extremely rude since moving in.They did not do any maintenance and left all issues unattended. We were constantly living in a hellhole with unstable electricity supply. They didn't reply to email and hung up bluntly on the phone. Once moving out they attempted to extort the whole deposit but fortunately they failed miserably. They still call me occasionally and speak foul language.It is a kinda harrassment.I blacklist and block its phone number. For the best of your interests,do avoid any contact with this agency. They are criminals. Be aware of the deceptively positive reviews here.They create accounts and write them on their own. It is way better to see the reviews on Trustpilot.

Very friendly to begin with - couldn’t be more helpful and replies were prompt. However, once we’d signed and paid they couldn’t care less. We lived in the apartment for a year and a repair (which they said was being dealt with) was still an issue when we finally left. Mould and damp damaged our furniture, clothes and health. Failed to tell us about rules regarding what furniture we could and couldn’t put outside and then blamed us for not asking even though it was not mentioned in our tenancy agreement and we were never passed on building rules - this lead to a lot of money being wasted on things that we couldn’t then use/have. The icing on the cake was that they have no idea of tenant/landlord rules. They refused to give us our landlords name and an address (something legally they have to - a simple Google search shows this). We had to get Birmingham Council involved and they threatened legal action and still they just refused. Their response was just to ignore us and wait out the remaining time we had left in our contract. They couldn’t even do viewings properly when we were moving out as they didn’t have a key and suggested we leave work or give them one of ours - multiple viewings wasted time going to an appointment just to see the front door. Luckily we are somewhere much nicer which a much better letting agency and will avoid them at all costs in the future - I suggest everyone do the same! The one positive thing I will say is that Chelsie was always friendly and helpful. If you are unfortunate to get any other staff good luck - particularly Madeline who was beyond unprofessional.
