Excellent, prompt service at all times during the sale of my house. Everything was done to the highest standards, from advising on the value of the house (absolutely spot-on, an offer was agreed at the asking price withing 3 days of putting the house on the market!), to recommending a firm to replace a door panel which saved me 50% over an alternative quote, to patient and cheerful contact with the prospective buyers in the light of some delays caused by rather inattentive solicitors. The sale was concluded as stress-free and smoothly as could be expected. Definitely worth the outlay as compared to selling the house yourself on the internet, this firm is professional and highly competent and never pushy. A great job well done, many thanks!

I dealt with Ashley to sell my flat and I would recommend him and RC to everyone. There were about 6 months from us having the valuation to actually listing the property and Ash kept in touch throughout and even sent us properties to view when we thought the place we were buying might fall through. He kept me updated at every stage in the process and dealt with any issues (not caused by RC) quickly and effectively. He's also a pleasure to deal with and a credit to the company. Our experience of other estate agents had not been great and you can tell Ash genuinely cares about his customers. It's great to be able to use a local company too!

My wife and I purchased our first home through Rice Chamberlains in March 2018. Our experience has been absolutely excellent. Initially, we had Lisa show us around the property a couple of times. Her knowledge of the property / area was superb, and she was able to obtain answers to more obscure queries very quickly. Throughout the actual purchasing process, Lesley was on hand the entire time. She was equally great and we were on the phone together as / when needed. They acted as a great point of contact between us and the sellers. Overall we cannot recommend Lesley / Lisa and the Rice Chamberlains team highly enough. They made a long, and sometimes stressful, process a lot easier to handle and helped us every step of the way. They gave us a realistic valuation and then delivered by selling the house for that price within a few days when we had really needed a quick sale. Our transaction was fairly complicated as it involved a probate and things didn’t happen in the usual order, so we never really imagined that it would come together. They have successfully found a tenant for me multiple times. They also carry out check-in and check-out inventories on the property, something I value greatly, as well as dealing with the deposits etc. I particularly admire the professional, action-orientated and focused mindset of Maisy, Joe and Hassan. I like to see quick progress and actions being taken to increase the chance of the property being let, rather than a laissez-faire attitude. Keep up the good work team!

We've been renting through Rice Chamberlain for a year and a half. They actually just blatantly ignore our emails. They take so much money from us but do so little. They are also dishonest, they have promised many times that repairs will be done and then they never follow through. The house we rent is in disrepair and poorly maintained, but there is nothing we can do about it- they don’t care. They are taking money from both landlord and renter and not fulfilling their duty to either. I emailed them to say we are being sent mail intended for the Landlord; but they never come to collect it. They do not care about their job.
