We engaged Rice Chamberlain in Bournville to market our house in early 2022, this being the second time we have used them as we are serial movers! We were originally unsure about an agent conducting our viewings, but they did an extremely good job and the house was sold quite quickly. These days the conveyancing system is very long winded, and throughout the whole process James and his team went out of their way to keep us fully informed. Often we were gaining more information from them than from the solicitors. We would highly recommend Rice Chamberlain for their marketing, customer service, attention to detail and the friendliness of their staff, all of which make them stand out above others we have used in the past.

We hired Rice Chamberlains to sell our house after considering several other estate agents, we were very impressed by their professionalism, honesty and friendly approach. No hard sell, no unrealistic overpromising and nothing felt "sales-y" or impersonal. James and his team did a fantastic job photographing our home for sale (including a virtual tour) and throughout the process we were kept informed and aware of all aspects, including viewings, offers and negotiations. Service was always quick and efficient and James, Matthew and Stuart were all really helpful with any questions we had, as well advising on our onward purchase too. We were looking for an estate agent who'd treat us like adults and communicate with us openly and supportively and this is exactly what we found with Rice Chamberlains, would use them again next time we sell.

What can we say. Excellent company who are a pleasure to deal with. From the initial meeting with James who set our concerns at rest and knew the market so well, to Aimee who was professional to a tee with viewings, negotiations and dealt with our long and arduous move with many twists and turns professionally and proactively. Felt like they were only ones on our side after having issues with one particularly awful upper chain that eventually collapsed due to unscrupulous behaviour on exchange date. The team at Rice Chamberlain provided outstanding service both for renting my property and its subsequent sale. The tenants proved to be difficult by refusing to vacate the house at the end of their contract but Abigail and Hannah dealt with the matter professionally and successfully by getting them to eventually leave and organising the repair of the damage incurred by them. James was exemplary in selling the house under the difficult circumstances of Covid 19 lockdown restrictions. In spite of these he obtained a good price and was proactive in pushing the sale through.
