GoogleI was looking for my student house for the 24/25 academic year and Oakmans made the process really straight forward. Especially Jai, he showed us all of the available properties, talked us through the whole process and helped us choose our home for the next year. Couldn’t recommend Jai and the rest of Oakmans enough.

GoogleReally good service to sell my house. All the staff I had contact with were friendly, professional and knowledgeable about the local market. From the initial valuation to completion. Paddy the valuer said it expected the property to sell within 35 days, I accepted an offer on day 32! The progression team helped move things along to complete within 12 weeks of the offer.

GoogleAwful customer service, unprofessional service towards customers and no care towards students. I paid my holding fee to this agency over a month ago, expecting my room and the house to be renovated and cleaned as promised by one of their agents at their branch in Selly Oak, Birmingham. Upon moving in, nothing was done. The state of the room was appalling, mold on the walls, broken wardrobe, a leaking and foamy toilet, no working sockets, missing bulb, stained bed, and cobwebs everywhere. The weeds in the garden are way overgrown and I’m being told as a new tenant that it’s my responsibility to clear them as I’ve just moved in. I’m putting this out there so you save yourself the trouble if you're a student looking for a place to rent. They are completely unprofessional.

GoogleI was a student at BCU and used Oakmans for my second and third year housing as for students there is not many options. I personally have never been involved with a company who care less about their customers. The staff are completely negligent to anything asked of them by tenants, the managers are such rude and disingenuous people it is astounding. The company is completely disorganised with staff who in my opinion don’t do much. I urge any student to work hard to avoid having to use Oakmans.
