Ive recently sold my house with Oakmans estate agents and I cannot thank the Northfield branch enough. Lilly managed to get my house sold within a week for over asking price! Laura was amazing when a few issues came up halfway through the transaction and I cannot thank her enough as without her I dont think the sale would have reached completion! Thank you Oakmans Northfield, I will most definitly be recommending you!

Communicated to at all times and had reminders regarding the appointment. Jamie arrived and explained what he would be doing, wore shoe covers which is very respectful to our property. Before Jamie left he explained what would happen next. Great service from Oakmans

08/04/26 Hau from Oakmans arrived on time and I was greeted by a very friendly young man. He clarified the process and helpfully moved a few things for me due to my limited mobility. I found Hau to be very efficient in taking the pictures on my property which took approximately 30mins. So far I have nothing but praise for the team at Oakmans in Harbourne.

May I say what a wonderful job she did, I had updates everyday on the progress of my application through email and calls we were always in contact. GoogleAmazing and efficient service!! I interjected Alex doing a viewing at our current property and asked if she could help with a group of 6 moving from a 5 bed. I gave her my contact number and she contacted me the same day making a further appointment. Alex gave us a list of properties at our price range and took us around the ones we had chosen. She listened to our queries and made suggestions, but there was no pushing into a certain property, or trying to haggle us to an higher price. Alex is very efficient and works hard at her job!!

GoogleOverall very disappointed with the service we received from Oakmans. What we were promised when we signed the contract is absolutely not what we received from them in reality. Customer service and communication was awful, we didn't have a dedicated contact or sales agent so getting hold of anyone who could help you was a nightmare. If you had any questions you got passed between the valuation team and sales team who generally said contradictory things. Just absolute customer service basics were missed. Viewings were rare and it felt like we were always the last people to hear about viewings with viewings generally only seeming to appear (the next day) if we rang up to ask how things were going after a long spell of no viewings. On viewings it felt like everything was organised to suit the oakmans viewing staff and both buyer and sellers schedules were not considered. Most frustrating was any commitment made by Oakmans staff was either forgotten or carried out different to agreed and generally days later. We were warned prior to signing by other local sales agent about Oakmans and after 4 months on the market I now agree with what they said, if you want to sell your house go to a local dedicated sales agent, not a letting agent that dabbles in sales. We were lured by the sales pitch and the price, don't make the same mistake.

I want to assure you that what you’ve described is not indicative of our standard operations or the level of service we strive to provide. We are committed to keeping our customers happy and are disheartened that we failed to meet your expectations. Our goal is to make the process seamless and efficient for our customers, and clearly, we did not accomplish that in your case. We aim for cohesive internal communication so that we can provide accurate and consistent information to our customers. Regarding viewings, it's our responsibility to balance the schedules of all parties involved to the best of our ability. We apologise that it felt like your schedule wasn’t considered, and that viewings were not arranged in a timely manner. Your feedback is crucial for us as we constantly seek to improve. Thank you for bringing these issues to our attention, and again, we apologise for falling short of your expectations.

GoogleThe worst estate agent in all of Birmingham !! My student house room was infested with numerous sorts of bugs, Beatles and spiders going in and out of the carpets. There was also mold in the fridge upon arrival and the washing machine !!
