TrustpilotWorst experience I've had viewing.
Booked a viewing, arrived 5 min early, was left out in the cold rain for 25 min and then told that we were late. They claimed they tried to contact us when we had contacted them 3 times. They had never reached out. Then they said they had the wrong number for us even though we called them several times. Simply grotesquely unprofessional and deplorable service. If this is what a viewing with them is like, avoid them at all costs.

FacebookSpoke to manager Shanti Bailey today and her customer service skills were absolutely appalling. Rather than wait for me to finish speaking, she kept interrupting when I tried to explain why I had called, she was already in a defensive mode before I’d even explained what I was potentially complaining about. She then laughed and tried to say she was coughing when I could audibly hear her laughing when I mentioned I wasn’t impressed with her customer service skills. Rather than take responsibility for a mistake made by one of her staff members and offer a simple apology, she’s spoken in a rude manner, interrupted me, kept interrupting me after noticing I was getting audibly more frustrated and upset, and instead of trying to deescalate the situation, has laughed at me and tried to insinuate that nothing will happen from my complaint and any complaints I raise against her despicable behaviour. We’ve always had positive dealings with Daisy Collins who also works with Martin and Co and so it was even more shocking that Shanti would respond and deal with a highly sensitive situation in such a manner.
Update: I’ve been emailed an apology after I have made this post but I do feel it is too little too late as you have reiterated all the information I gave you in the phone call, attempting to pass it off as your own opinion, despite disagreeing with me in the phone call. I am not impressed in the slightest though I do appreciate an apology has been offered.

I was dealt with really unprofessionally by a lady named Chloe. She was rushing me off the phone being very blunt when I asked her enquires on the property. She had no understanding or sensitivity and accused me of putting in too many requests because I shown interest in a few properties! Very disappointed by this and her awful attitude. The rest of the team I spoke to was quite helpful - but she had made my experience with the team quite unsettling.

Birmingham Martin & co branch 0/5 stars They will Gaslight & lie trying to trick you into paying for repairs property painting when you leave, They will not fix property issues, poor customer service. Expect excessive deposit extraction attempts They are the classic trope of vulture estate agents. AVOID. ** Update they tried to take my entire deposit, and the agent tried to bluff on the phone that I had repainted the walls with the incorrect paint and my repairs were not professional, I had comprehensive photos and the tribunal sided with me and gave back 90% of the deposit instead. which it would seem a neutral party agrees they were trying to be exploitative.
