First choice provider

I was using LiFE Residential for 4 years and never experienced any issues with property support or customer care. My manager - Abi was always fast in response and even available after office hours. I got full coverage from setting-up my utility bills and all the way up to the final property cleaning. I have no unexpected surprises during my deposit release at the end of tenancy either. Surely next time I rent - LiFE Residential will be my first choice.

Georgia has been an extremely helpful property manager

We have been with Life Residential for a third year now. And although there have been ups and downs (especially with the process of transitioning from one property manager to another where we have had 3 managers changed in a row within literally the period of 3 months and nobody bothered making us aware of the fact that actually a new property manager has been assigned to us at any given moment) I would characterize Life Residential as a quite decent and reliable realty agency. It is worthwhile to mention that our recent property manager - Georgia Hurley - has been very helpful in eventually resolving our problem with the boiler. For the last few months we have been experiencing quite an inconvenience with hot water pressure / hot water supply and all attempts to remedy the situation remained without success. However, when Georgia stepped in we had our boiler tank replaced rather promptly and voilà - we are back into civilization with hot water coming out of the tap :) I would like once again to thank Georgia for the smooth assistance on the matter and hope that all our queries will be dealt with in the future in the same propmt manner.

The most disappointing experience with…

The most disappointing experience with an agency.Here is why:- My friend and I moved in into a property 2 YEARS ago and no one has ever come to fix the issues that were written on the inventory! After 2 years of calls, emails, the same broken things are still there and when it seems like the property manager is going to help, all of a sudden they stop replying. - When we moved in, there was a leak THAT WE DID NOT CAUSE, and after it was fixed (almost 2 weeks after we asked for help) the water bill came to £500 that the agency said it was our responsibility to pay!! Despite the leak was already there when we moved into the property.-Communication is awful, the property managers just send emails that look very unprofessional and the lack of empathy is just frustrating. We recently received an email stating our rent will increase by next month. We checked the contract where it is written we are on a fixed rent for another year.After pointing this out, no one responded anymore.I am happy to see many other reviews that state the company is great but we just did not have the same experience.

Sofa so good!

Claudio was very helpful in resolving an issue with a sofa that was well worn. After looking into cleaning and trying to find replacement parts he helped select a new sofa the tenant was happy with and even helped organise redelivering the old sofa to us so we can look into renovating it at our leisure. Throughout the entire process he was professional and quick to respond to my emails.

I have mixed experience with Life…

I have mixed experience with Life Residential as our letting agents.On the positive side, our new property manager (as of June 2023), Hayley Bellfield is extremely proactive, responds to all communications in a timely manner, and she is genuinely enthusiastic about helping us as landlords. She is very likeable and we've got on extremely well since she started looking after us. I've left a 3 star review, because our experience over the last 6 years has been more mixed, with several mistakes/omissions being made by LR, and the letting/management fees are higher than other agents.I have fed this back, and have moved to another agent this month. But I do believe that my concerns have been listened to by more than one senior manager now, and I have received genuine apologies for aspects of the service received in the past It looks like the organisational structure is changing for the better. So although the service has massively improved of late, it is now only because of the landlord fees that we have moved to another agent.
