FacebookUseless company. A flat, managed by James Laurence, has been leaking water into mine for months. I have chased and chased, they failed to act and suggested it could be from the neighbour's property which is the other side of a stairwell. Just shows they don't care and have no knowledge of the properties they are letting. I have had to remove the light from my kitchen because the water from theirs keeps tripping the electric. Any other letting agency would treat a water leak as an emergency, normally they would instruct a plumber and tell the landlord, not ignore repeated requests.
Update: Like I said, any other letting agent, upon being notified of a leak, would immediately instruct a plumber. Unfortunately James Laurence need to speak with the landlord before doing anything. Clearly they fail to understand that water and electrics don't mix. Words fail me. It's no wonder Landlords have such a bad reputation.

GoogleI spent quite a long time looking for the right apartment to rent on my move up to Birmingham and Melissa Wilson was fantastic throughout the process. On my first visit up to Birmingham for a viewing Melissa lined up some extra viewings on the day that fit the criteria and continued to send over options that were actually aligned to what I was looking for. GoogleJamie at James Laurence was so helpful and professional. My partner original viewed the apartment before i could see it. Jamie went above and beyond and went out of his way to ensure i could view it once we had accepted. Whilst transitioning over again Jamie took the time to allow up to come in and measure up for some of our furniture and continued to touch base regularly with us to ensure we were happy. Jamie is extremely friendly and chatty which made the whole experience very easy and there was nothing that he would not do to ensure we had everything we wanted and needed before moving. Googlethe worst letting agents and landlord I have ever dealt with, properly riddled with bed bugs to the point that a year out of living in the properly I have still got an issue with bed bugs, their property ruined my personal items and destroyed my mental health wouldn’t recommend they don’t deal with their issues and leave tenants traumatised.

GoogleAs my first experience engaging with an estate agent to manage my rental property, I have found James Laurence to provide a swift, helpful and engaged service. They are easily contactable via phone within opening hours, usually have an agent that becomes familiar with your property/situation meaning you do not need to re-explain any ongoing issues each time you call, and are able to act quickly and decisively to deal with any problems that may arise. After a leak occurred at mine, an emergency contractor was swiftly despatched to mitigate the damage before it became serious, which is my main reason for both recommending them and writing this review. I have to recommend ebey person I have spoken with so far, thank you!
