Absolutely shocking they advertised my house without asking . It was on with another agent and they listed it. It looked it was less than the actual sale price due to the way they operate. Complete cowboys. Please beware they should not be doing this without consent. I will be seeking legal action.

Recently spoke to homewise on behalf of my Nan who is looking to move after the passing of my granddad. With the house prices rising and living on a state pension she was concerned she wouldn’t be able to afford to live in her current property alone, so we were able to speak to homewise which offers an alternative to her. My mother needs to get her kitchen redone and the double glazing fixed so that it’s more cost-effective now that everything has gone up. I’ve looked at equity release for her, but the amount she can borrow has gone down and the rates are so expensive now. I did a bit of research and found Homewise, so I called them. They answered all my questions and gave me a lot of very helpful information. I think their product could be the right solution for her because it will allow her to get more money released by moving home and leasing for life. Homewise is a very clever solution for people that don’t want to take on expensive debt in their old age.

We used this service for our parents, who were still in the family home which was too big for just the two of them, and they still had some mortgage left, which none of us were in a position to pay off. I researched the Homewise option way before my 60th birthday because my personal circumstances reduced my retirement saving target when I was medically retired. As I have no blood relatives Homewise is the perfect solution for me and I am now living in a bungalow I would not have been able to afford had I used my savings in the traditional way. From day 1 I felt totally supported every step of the way and the whole timeline of finding a property to actually moving in was and felt totally controlled and supported. If the Homewise process fits your circumstances and you enter the process with your eyes open and fully informed it is an excellent way to find your retirement dream home. Do your homework and be sure you understand the implications of what you are doing and it’s an excellent option.
