The valuer over valued the property by 20k and gave the impression it would be in demand at that price. When I turned down the first offer made and subsequently the second offer by a different buyer I was told the asking price was far to high and we wouldn't get that even if the house was closer to the Walmley boundary. I said why did your agent value it at this and I was told that they were testing the water, but this is certainly not what he said at the time. I didn't find dealing with them very pleasant at all and as the sale was following a bereavement I felt that they didn't show any understanding of the situation. I often ended up speaking to different people who sometimes didn't know the latest regarding the sale.

Very poor experience with Green and…

Very poor experience with Green and Company Walmley Letting. Firstly, they failed to register my details after completing the registration process on 12/08/23 . So I had to send them the detail again. It took ages for them to return my calls on 14/08/23 when trying to get a viewing. I had to get several other Green and Co offices to ring the Walmley Letting dept to get them to reply to their own customers! It was completely ridiculous. After finally getting a viewing on the property and looking to proceed, Green and Co Walmley letting totally missed both timelines they told me I would get an answer by (Rachel gave me those timelines). They could not get hold of their own landlord for several days. Then they came back with some laughable response that contradicted their own advert! The way they wasted my time was disgraceful and the way they dealt with me as a potential customer was very poor. I already let them know time was of the essence. I do NOT recommend them. I will never deal with Green and Co Walmley letting again or give them any future business. Looking at all the low rating reviews on here, I now see I am not the only one disappointed, after receiving such a poor service.

Really bad service

Clint asked me for personal details - proof of funds for a property and my availability..then just didn’t get back to me! When I chased him 4 days later apparently he was at the stage of getting offers for the house and only had 2 viewing slots left during working hours - none of which were suitable. Clint confirmed viewings had taken place all week already (whilst I was available to view) - really disappointing service. The agents clearly aren’t bothered about ensuring everyone gets a fair chance to purchase a property. It seems they aren’t actually working in the best interest of the sellers (who will be funding their commission payments).

Absolutely irresponsible agents who left the heating on, in my empty property when viewings were taking place. I obviously accumulated a overcharge in my bill. They have not taken any accountability and have left me out of pocket. Be careful when using Green in Great Barr. Unreliable, untrustworthy and irresponsible.

Honestly, such an amazing company to sell your house with! From the beginning, they were so professional and to be honest well priced with their fees compared to other estate agents! The photos taken of my property were great and we had lots of viewings arranged for us straight away and sold our property within days. All of the staff here couldn't have been anymore helpful throughout the whole process. The communication from them at every step was superb. In fact, April in specific was more on the ball than our solicitors and was making enquiries constantly for us and pushing for our exchange of contracts more than our solicitors! April genuinely cares at this branch and when we were worried we might have lost our sale due to our solicitors taking ages, she managed to sort everything out for us and exchanged straight away. I couldn't be more appreciative of what April did for us- she really went above and beyond and for that I couldn't recommend this estate agents any higher than I do. We also used the mortgage advisor Mandy in this branch too and she was excellent and supportive from the start and clarified multiple times figures etc. with us- she was extremely patient - which is what you want and need when making such a big decision. Thank you Green & Company for been so helpful and helping to make our dream move happen!
