Unfortunately, they persuade you to spend loads of times filling in forms and sending them lots of personal information (bank statements, contracts, payslips, ID, references), just to apply for the house, including credit checks, and it is more of a game of speed than if you qualify for the property. Because my landlord wasn't quick enough (one day) I didn't get the flat. They tell you that they'll then get you into view other properties that are "just for you" because you are "pre-approved" but they just ghosted me.

Hello. The service has been fantastic. Israr has helped us relentlessly with the refurbishment of the property and managing and organising various contractors. Glenwood properties have managed to secure a really good rent and find good tenants. We have opted for the managed service as the cost over a year is similar to a let only fee, however the excellent service has encouraged us to trust Glenwood with the management especially as they do not instruct or complete any work required until it is discussed with us first. We would highly recommend. If you would like a personal service, I would actually say a concierge service, and someone who follows through with requests, and is proactive then Glenwood is a very good option. I rarely do reviews but I am doing this because I think someone out there needs to know that there are still good property companies like Glenwood Property Services. I used the services of this company recently and I would say their professionalism and empathy towards their client is extraordinary. Right from the viewing stage, to the referencing, to hand over stage, the company was simply amazing. I can say this because I tried over 10 property companies in the course of looking for a home for my family and my situation was not addressed in the professional manner it required. Glenwood on the other hand treated me well and had a listening ear for my requirements. The company ultimately met my requirement (and within my budget). I will recommend Glenwood based on my experience. The company surely has a head for business, but beyond that, it has a heart for its clients. Israr from the company should be a model for how letting agents treat their clients. I look forward to working with them again.

Was with Israr for a year, he started well, got me tenants straight away and was very efficient. A year later now we’ve had many issues. I wanted to raise the rent and that’s where the difficulty started. All of a sudden it became that the tenants where in control (from how he made it seem) and where dictating how much it should cost and when it will go up. He checked out the tenants sent me pictures (I am London based) and I thought I’d come up to Birmingham have a look myself and found that the property was in a terrible state, marks all over the walls, pulled out carpets, damp bathroom floor and many more even though he said he was very happy and how they were great tenants! He returned their deposit without notifying me and it was extremely difficult to reconcile the issues because of Israr. My advice to anyone reading this, is avoid going with him if you want to rent out your property as unfortunately he is not trustworthy. It is a shame as I gave him five stars originally however during and towards the end his true colours really showed. And genuinely if you go with him good luck and make sure you check your property out properly after tenants move or you change tenants
