GoogleI wouldn't recommend landlords to hire their services. They don't communicate and will send contractors to fix issues without your knowledge and charge you for it. They are very unreliable with paying on time. I have to chase them every month for payments. They pay whenever they want over the entirety of the month.

GoogleI had such a bad experience with Empire Lettings. They have been awful to deal with (from a landlord's perspective) and all my tenants also complained about the way they have dealt with any issues. Empire would constantly enter my property without informing my tenants, which in turn resulted in me having very upset tenants. As the landlord, I tried to be patient with Empire but that did not help at all. They have made continues errors with my rent payments and underpaid me month after month. This meant that I had to constantly chase them to do their own job properly. Now that I have decided to leave Empire and work with a new management company, they have held my funds for over 3 weeks and refuse to send the rent money to me. Awful company, from both my perspective and from my tenant's perspective. I am very disappointed and it was a waste of the management fee that I had to pay for 6 months (as I was locked into their contract).

GoogleI had the unfortunate experience of living in a property "managed" by Empire. During that time they were slow to respond to repair requests, tried to increase rent without following statutory processes and failed to provide consistent heating and hot water in the property. They also failed to ensure my deposit transferred to them when they took over from the previous agency. I then needed to argue on the phone, to get them to agree to pay for a solicitor to witness my statutory declaration form, so that I could get my deposit back from the DPS. This agency are unprofessional, incompetent and unreliable. They didn't even turn up at their own office on the day I was due to check out. Avoid. Look at their website with spelling and grammar mistakes to see how professional they are.

FacebookUnable to recommend Empire. Okay, the deposit was low & the shared house was only temporary while I relocated, but the 'cleaner' did nothing (when she did turn up). This happened repeatedly - and bear in mind this is a house of SIX bedrooms. The poor landlord was paying for a cleaner who was taking the piss... and the lettings agency knew about it! Sorry, but if you advertise a "professional" houseshare (it wasn't anyway - students moved in) with a cleaner you need to deliver it! Hiring a decent cleaner really isn't rocket science... 💁♀️ At least two tenants smoked weed constantly in their rooms and despite everyone being able to smell it, Empire did nothing as they couldn't "prove" anything. God knows what other criminal enterprises were going on in the house - some very dodgy characters lived there and then disappeared at random. Empire have a poor attitude showing utter ambivalence and a lack of respect towards tenants. Not only that, but the owner Paul Tanner really is a knob 🙄 After I escalated my complaints to him, (he couldn't even grasp how I'd managed to guess his email address) he actually said to me 'I don't usually allow tenants to email me directly'. 😆 I had to pause while I tried not to laugh. Paul, you don't have to 'allow' me to do anything. Might I recommend spending less time posting pictures of cars and your very average looking family on fb, and instead work on customer service. No one owes you respect - you earn it. He failed to return calls - but this is only to be expected. He was probably terrified having to deal with someone who was happy to call him out. The Tenant Fees Bill comes into force in less than two months... ☺️ 👏👏👏 Lazy and arrogant agents like this will have to shape up... and I can't WAIT.

GoogleTo be honest , I haven’t come across no property management which can’t help you secure your room till your time duration, this property management are very weak their planning and everything even to pay back or refund a deposit you had already sent for about months, they choose not to pick your calls over a chicken change .

GoogleA very very poor excuse for an estate agency. I had a very bad experience with this company stay far away from them. Do not invest any money with this company the manager Paul Tanner can’t be trusted and I’m surprised he hasn’t been closed down yet!!! Take my advice a stay well clear!!!
