Emma Gray was totally amazing the way she controlled the sale of our house for us. From the start Emma made a fantastic impression, arrived the next day for valuation & photos and added us to Right Move within 24hrs. I cannot recommend Edwards and Gray highly enough, especially Alex who went above and beyond as our estate agent. Alex was recommended by a family friend, so I had high expectations and he truly lived up to them all. He was extremely professional, knowledgeable and friendly from the get-go! The house was marketed really well, and we managed to receive and accept an offer within a week of going on the market. There were some roadblocks along the way, outside of his or our control, however Alex was very proactive in chasing and making sure that we were progressing through the process as smoothly as we possibly can. My first conversation with Alex was coming up 2 years ago when we were unsure whether to go to market or wait, in the end we decided to wait but it was over the next 12-15 months that Alex showed why he should be the agent to sell our house. Every other agent I had out to value just left me to it, but Alex kept in touch - not in a hard selling way, but to offer market advice of when would be the best time to launch. The reason I chose him was because I kept thinking ‘I f he was doing this to someone who hadn’t even committed to them, what would he be like when he was actually selling my house!’ Fast forward to listing and I couldn’t fault him. Not only was the marketing exceptional, at our request viewings were held over 2 evenings and the following Tuesday we had a list of offers, all over asking price - we accepted one which was roughly 10% over. Our sale wasn’t the smoothest with there being 6 properties in the chain, but Alex kept it together and kept me sane when it looked to be collapsing. I couldn’t praise Alex and the team enough for this and I would not hesitate to use them again or recommend to anyone who is looking to sell their property. Thanks Alex.

As first time buyers a lot of people tell you about the stress of buying a home and all the challenges associated but thanks to Emma and the team, our journey has been wholly positive. Emma's responsiveness, warmth and reassuring presence made the whole process much less stressful! She was always on hand to answer any questions or concerns and it always felt like she really cared, not only about the sellers interests but also ours. She was able to provide recommendations for Conveyancers who were equally as reliable and responsive which again made things a lot easier. Emma was excellent in all respects. I needed to sell my Mom's house to pay for her care home fees, unfortunately this was not straightforward due to the property suffering a subsidence issue in 2018. I had to prove the property was now stable, Emma recommended a structural engineer who completed a full structural report for the buyers lender who was then satisfied the property was sound. Overall this difficult sale took around nine months to complete and Emma stuck with it all the way. Emma kept me updated with all aspects of this sale and I highly recommend Edwards and Grey Estate Agents. Thanks Emma.

Emma at Edwards and Gray was amazing from day 1… As soon as we viewed our property we fell in love and felt comfortable enough to make an offer on the spot with Emma. Luckily the vendor accepted the offer and then we began the race to get the property over the line before the end of the stamp duty deadline.
