I want to share a really positive review because the service I’ve received from Alex at the Solihull branch has been absolutely fantastic. Estate agent (partner!!) failed to disclose his personal relationship to the sellers to us which I am now told is an obligation at the very beginning of the transaction. Dragged feet for 6 months with lack of update or progress to us as buyers, I had to chase several times. Left us waiting until 6pm to collect our keys on the day of completion despite completing transactionally a lot earlier in the day. Was supposed to complete a final check before locking up. We had to awkwardly collect keys with sellers still loading their cars on the drive, in the pitch black, rubbish left on the drive for us to deal with along with contents in the house that had been left despite the signed contents form disclosing nothing would remain in the property. Skip was used solely to fill the remains of what should have been taken and not what we had the intention of using it for. This had a final check and sign off from the agent? Walked in to faulty lights and dirty dishes in the kitchen and left heartbroken with the first step into our first home. I always wonder whether we would have had the same lack of care if there was no relation to the sellers or whether it would have been more impartial, as it should have been.

Very disappointing and untrustworthy service. Since putting an offer in on a property with Edwards and Gray, the experience has been nothing short of awful. Communication has been poor, information has been inconsistent, and I’ve repeatedly been given incorrect or unclear details needed for important documents, causing unnecessary delays and stress. Rather than being supported through what is already a demanding process, I was made to feel like an inconvenience simply for trying to move things along at a reasonable pace. I’ve been left with very little trust in this agency and would seriously question their reliability if you’re looking for an estate agent who will act in your best interests or provide clear, honest guidance. I would not recommend based on my experience

I have had an amazing experience with Edward and gray. I viewed houses with different members of the team and they were all amazing and professional. Amun Mudhar especially has been amazing. Very professional, kept his word and delivered his promise worked up and behond his duty, calling and keeping me upto date even out of work hours because he knew I had been let down by other agents and he was always there to put my mind at ease. Amun is hardworking, very professional good sense of humour smart and intelligent. I feel he knows his line of work and his expertise was evident and that’s what put my mind at ease. I had been let down by other agents and had almost lost hope after a year and half of being on the market but Amun had my house sold within two weeks and I was delighted. I knew I could rely on him to be frank and honest with his advice and I really needed it. Now I am looking forward to moving into my home and I don’t think I could have done it without him. I think it really does matter which estate agent you choose and Edward and gray deliver their promise. A top notch service from Charlotte and Laura. Having spent nearly two years carefully renovating my property I was extremely nervous about which agent to entrust with my sale, I was keen to obtain the highest price and give my property the best chance of sucess. Charlotte and her team are not like other high street agents who will either undervalue to make their life easier, or over value and then ask you to reduce, they priced the property fairly and obtained a buyer fast. I had other agents arrive to appointments late, presented poorly and unprepared; however Charlotte arrived looking professional, she was warm and enthusiastic and demonstrated quickly that she had done her research and knew her stuff! With a challenging buyer in the chain, they managed the process throughout to get the job done end to end, something I have found other agents are not so good at. In the future I wouldnt consider selling with anyone else, and other clients shouldnt either.
