GoogleI rented a lovely, well-presented 1 bedroom apartment in the Edgbaston area through Direct Housing. Throughout my time there, I found the staff to be extremely helpful, polite and courteous at all times. GoogleNot the best with communication, I understand it's a busy period however my friend needed a reference and they took a good while. Some of the cleaning claims were also very petty.

Melissa & Lauren G. were particularly helpful! They guided us every step of the way, with patience, kindness and honesty. Lauren S. was also wonderful when it came to filling out those last few forms.

GoogleAs a student I felt unsupported from the start - communication was poor and I felt that I wasn't respected. I had a lot of issues with the property at the start of the tenancy and received little to no response or support from the agency with these. Everyone was friendly enough but seemed uninterested in really helping. I felt I had to chase for responses, contacting the agency 4-5 times through different mediums before getting a real solution to any issue. The small amount of things that were sorted happened very very slowly.

GoogleThis is the worst agency I have ever seen. This agency has no integrity and does nothing when it comes to things. The table was broken when I checked in. I asked for it more than 30 times, but they didn't fix it until I quit.
Hi Xiaomin, I have looked at the circumstances regarding your complaint, and although we have no record of 30 requests for a desk drawer to be repaired, the matter should have been attended to within a given time-frame . Please accept our apologies for not dealing with this sooner. A new desk was delivered last week, we hope you are happy with it.

GoogleHad a small mould problem in the house and I was really impressed with direct housings response! They replied to my email very quickly and the landlord was sent over in 24 hours and did an amazing job cleaning it all up. Thank you very much!

GoogleMe and my two friends had a great experience here. Nina Harrington, our letting agent, was very friendly and enthusiastic. A few days after starting to look for accomodation we managed to find a great place in Harbourn for a good price, and we're getting the two months of rent at half-price. The Direct Housing team were far more enthusiastic, and far more organised than the other agent - and as a result quickly got new student tenants for us for 2020-2021 academic year. Very pleased
