Jon was our main agent and Carol helped us exchange and complete the sale with the buyer. They were both so kind and patient. Superb communication and always contactable- which is rare with most other agents we've experienced. Jon got us the best price and guided us through negotiations. Having listed my property with my usual agent during Covid I unexpectedly received a call from Melissa who was proactively trying to list the property on their website as they had clients who would be interested. In all honesty I thought it was the usual cold call sales pitch, but I had nothing to lose. I was informed of all the COVID measures put into place so that they could continue business. Within two days I had a viewing followed by an offer. Within the week the tenant moved in following all the financial checks. I highly recommend Davison’s from a landlord’s point of view.

The worse experience you will ever have, their PM department does not exist, you will call and call and no one will respond. Just hope the house you rent has no issues if not you will suffer and still get ignored. RUN AWAY FROM DAVIDSON ESTATE, don’t say I didn’t warn you. P.s, the agent that does the viewing is nice and gets you to write good reviews on here, I did it too but had to come and change it. You better run.

The experience with Davidson was very comfortable for me. The process was communicated simply and clearly, with any issues I have had being addressed promtply, all while any people I have interacted with being extremely friendly and helpful. It is by far the best experience I had with estate agents since coming to Birmingham. Elizabeth Daniels is my primary contact in Davidson Estates and has been indispensable in taking care of my tenancy. She even went as far as confirming the tenancy when she was already on annual leave and I think that speaks bounds about her determination.

I am having a bad experience with them at the moment. I am renting a house near Reservoir Lake. The property has had a leak in the living room, which they were able to fix but they have not fixed the damp ceiling and it is now full of mould. The washing machine has been damaged for a month and we have all the clothes unwashed, it is a real disaster, we have called, we have sent mails but the agency is not doing anything to help solve it and the weeks go by without any solution.

My partner and I rented a flat via Davidson Estates for one year. I must say, before Davidson Estates, I was incredibly hesitant and sceptical about using Estate agencies as my previous experiences just made me feel that they were all very much money-centric and put simply, dodgey but Davidson Estates was the best estate agency I'd been with. There were a couple of things that I weren't too happy about and these were 1) we put a deposit down for the flat approximatey one month before our agreed moving in date and we'd asked for the contract ahead of that. We'd waited several days for it and was told that we'd be provided with it on the same day or the following day, however, this was not the case, therefore, we kept calling to request it every few days. Eventually, after several attempts at chasing, we were told that contracts are not issued until a couple of days prior to our moving in date. Not once were we told this! Had I been advised of this from the very start, then I wouldn't have chased for it numerous times and would have just waited. The second issue that I had was meter readings. During the first 6 months or so, Davidson were great at responding to our electric meter reading requests, however, mid way through our tenancy, we were told that the responsibility of obtaining meter readings had shifted to the building management company, who I never ever received a call back or e-mail response from. I raised this with Davidson Estates as this was also the time when utility prices were increasing (so understandbly, we wanted to get our precise meter readings so we'd only pay for what we used and not get a estimated bill) but it took several attempts before I got a response from them saying that they would attend to open the cupboards to get our readings for us. I was not very happy with this as I felt that they had more important priorities but this to us, was urgent as obviously, we did not want to be left with an extortinate estimated bill to pay. Other than the aforementioned, we were overall, happy with the level of service delivered by Davidson Estates for the duration of our tenancy with them.

I had a great process using Davidson Estates - it was a slightly unusual circumstance as I was moving from outside Birmingham and when I was looking at the property the previous tenant was still living there, so I was provided a video viewing instead. This was however handled very professionally and efficiently, and all was clear regarding the property, amenities, rent etc. I would like to thank the team, particularly Jaime and Zee for their help with my move - I felt I was always bugging them with questions, but they put my mind at ease :D This is my first time renting a non-student property from an agency and it has given me a positive experience.

I think Davidsons are exceptional . Ben kept in touch with me over the course of years as my circumstances changed and my mind repeatedly changed about what I wanted to do with my property He and Melissa were so sensitive to the nature of my indecision and they understand the emotional aspects of moving and the trauma around divorce . I think the fact that Ben created a rapport of trust with me over so many years by checking in with me every 6 months or so meant that when the time came I would have never thought of going to any other agent . I now work with Caitlin MacDonald and she’s exceptionally responsive at her job. She is readily available even able to help on bank holidays. she is really committed and professional. She really cares about delivering good service. She has kept my tenants really happy with smooth communication and prompt problem solving . I recommend them all for this award because they really care about offering a personal service

Davidson Estates have been brilliant - particularly Jaime who has handled pretty much every aspect of our tenancy from viewing to moving in. Responses have been amazingly prompt, she has kept us totally in the loop every step of the way and been great with any queries. She supported us through some issues we had with RentProfile by chasing them, and even went above and beyond by keeping in touch with us via text when she wasn't even in the office, and had an outside-of-work appointment. Davidson and specifically Jaime have just been so brilliant and reliable, and have made the whole (stressful!) process so much smoother and easier. Thank you so much!!
