There’s slow and then there’s Centrick slow

I’ve been waiting for months now to receive the info required to sell my property. I’ve been promised the documents and still nothing has been received, now radio silent on email replies. Tried calling but phone just goes dead. Shocking customer service!

I would not recommend any property which is managed by this agent. We have had a series of issues since moving in all of which have not been addressed. Specially an issue with another owner who has decided to turn their apartment into and Air BnB. We have random people turn up at various points. In the beginning 20-30 people partying, smoking weed and keeping us up till the early hours of the morning. We have been targeted by the owner as we try to keep a tidy home, taking out rubbish, she has reported us. She lets another individual use the car park with a gigantic van that takes up too much room making parking a struggle. Of which that individual also parks his van on my drivers side so I cannot access my vehicle. With the apartment being let as an Air BnB, she can have three vehicles in at anyone time despite only having one space. The Lady also knows we are a gay couple so it feels very much like she is making our life’s difficult because of this. She has also had a large religious family stay who complained to the other neighbours that there was a bad vibe. We hadn’t even spoken to them. All of her Air BnB guest constantly leave the fire exit open and as she gives the lift code to so many people, we really do not feel safe in our own home. We truly feel harassed and Centric couldn’t care less. We have e-mailed, called and visited the office multiple times all to no avail. It is simply disgusting service. Even trying to get a new fob for the property took weeks. The real centric simply don’t care (despite their professional appearance) unless you’re new business. Avoid at all costs.

Sales and Lettings are a cert 5* - Rhianna Shakespeare took the time over a period of a month to make sure we were settled into the flat with an extra set of keys and was at hand to answer any queries we had. Maintenance are 3* - Things do get replaced eventually, such as taps but not like-for-like, a hangrohe tap gets replaced with a Wilko one etc. I still think you won't get better in Birmingham though. Overall - recommend Centrick - they won't leave you abandoned as some agents have done in the past!
