Worse auction company ever

They never allow viewings on house, they will have many excuses no keys in hand bla bla bla, walk away and find other auction companies that can arrange viewings for real!!!! Because the properties could be totally different and much worse than what’s advertising! READ every words they says in contract and special conditions before you bid!!! Once you register to bid, you confirm their terms by law. The terms in Legal packs are extremely unreasonable they can happen with EXTRA COST not in digits, abnormal Hugh solicitors fee £10000 while normal is like £1500, 3 beds could turn out to be 2 beds, different interiors from photos, property May had burglars boiler missing copper pipes n wires were cut, the seller don’t provide keys or deed!!! Once you win the bid, you are legally bonded to finish the deal by law and no going back! Otherwise you lose deposit! They are playing the game legally using the law! Make sure your solicitor and seller solicitors companies are regulated and catch up with the deadline, will be penalty if completion is late. They use family company Area Zone Ltd or in other names to buy n sell auction houses, that’s why you get the worse deal ever. You might get the house but it’s overrated price, even more expensive than the market price, it’s unliveable that’s why they don’t reply on viewings, report to citizens advice n Trading Standard! Any information would help them collect n investigate, they can put down their business if they continue to cheat people like this

Stay well away! All the good reviews here are fake. Look at their responses for bad reviews- threatening people. This company scams people for a living. Buy a property, and they hide in the legal pack extortionate fees (we got charged 20k extra). If you don't buy it, they keep the deposit and the admin fee. Customer services are very rude and just keep lying to you. The houses on sale are owned by them or their friends under different companies who are into the same scam. As a scheme to take people's money legally, you can definitely give the 5 stars.

These guys are 101% scam

These guys are 101% scam. please be aware. I have bid on their property. And just a day before completion, they sent me a completion statement with extortionate legal fee and rent arrears on top of bidding price(it is their pattern activity they do with most bidders). Initially, bpauction staff induced me to bid by telling me that their properties are clear of any arrears(a big lie). Later I found out that the seller of properties has big stake in auction house too. So it is a nexus of scammers.Update: The seller of the properties on bpauction who also used to be the director of bpauction has changed the directorship of bpauction and made someone from his household the director of bpauction. Also the address of bpauction and seller's company was same. They changed the address now to conceal their connection. Bidders please do a thorough research before bidding on any property at bpauction. Don't fall victim because of their low starting price. There are already many victims who have lost huge amount of money to these people. SO PLEASE BE AWARE OF THIS NEXUS.

Really positive buying experience

I've had a really good experience with BP auctions. I was able to search and find properties with ease amongst a large list. I've been able to buy without hassle or problems and I'll be using them to buy my next property without a doubt.

A true ScAM . There are hidden charges in the legal pack that are written in words rather than numbers . There are arrears that are not obvious in the legal pack and the seller’s solicitor will reveal them later when your solicitor gets in touch . BP auctions will avoid your calls and never get back to you when they say they will . I think the Police or Consumer Court should investigate these people and mainly the Seller ! This can’t go on like this !!!

A great service overall

After a few initial unpleasant bumps, the rest of the service with BP auction has been amazing. All my queries and concerned are answered within an hour and also on call if requested. I have bought multiple properties with them and the BP team has been of great help. I highly recommend.

SCAM COMPANY - AVOID!

Firstly, as many others have said DO NOT bid on any properties listed by BP Auctions. On the 13th April I won a house on the BP Auctions website. The listing was for a 3-bedroom terraced house, with vacant possession.I was contacted by someone at the auction house asking for the deposit (£9400) and it must be paid within the hour. I should have realised at this point something wasn’t right as the deposit was too high and the pressure of payment within 1 hour now weeks later seems crazy. However, believing I had won a property I paid the deposit.I later found out that the property is a 2-bedroom terraced house, with tenants that are not paying rent. I was then informed that I had to pay all un-paid rent plus other large amounts that add up to nearly twice as much as I won the property at auction for to start with.BP Auctions are selling their own properties and are deliberately fabricating information to make these properties completely different to what they are. This ends in people like me not getting anything at the end or a property that isn’t even close to what was advertised. If you have been a victim then please contact the following person on LinkedIn for the next steps. Search for Muhammad Rasheed. Managing Director at 92Door LtdDon’t let them get away with this, as together we can fight them and get our money back!16/10/2023 - UpdateBP Auctions continue to try & have my review removed, I have to keep providing more information.Instead of trying to get my real review taken down how about you refund all the people you have taken money from.

We’ve been trying to get a simple update from BP auctions for at LEAST two weeks. Every time we call we get told “we’re looking into it and will call you back by this afternoon”, then never receive a call. I’ve emailed copious amounts of times with 0 response, and quite frankly it’s tempting to list the property elsewhere. Wouldn’t recommend.

If you want smooth sale or purchase bp definitely the auction to use

I have used many auctions in the last few years not good experience. BP auctions have definitely been the better ones I have dealt with in terms of professionalism and how they dealt with my purchase in a timely manner. I would definitely be using BP auctions in the near future.

Please listen to my advice. Avoid. Do not bid, do not buy. Like others have said - I too believe that you will be scammed. If you have been a victim then please contact the following person on LinkedIn for the next steps - Muhammad Rasheed. Managing Director at 92Door Ltd

Hi,We wanted to take the time to address your points to avoid any future confusion, for yourself or others. All the properties on the platform have legal packs that have been provided by regulated solicitors these are available to download, view and inspect prior to bidding. We also advise and you would have confirmed a number of times that you have satisfied yourself with the information provided including any additional fees the seller/their solicitor have entered. All prospective bidders also confirm multiple times that you have had details confirmed by your solicitor as we do not verify any of the clients’ legal documents or fees associated. If you wish to discuss this further, please feel free to contact one of our team members and we’ll be happy to help.

DO NOT USE THIS AUCTION!!Scam Scam…

DO NOT USE THIS AUCTION!!Scam Scam Scam!! Anyone else affected please get in touch If you have been a victim then please contact the following person on LinkedIn for the next steps. Search for Muhammad Rasheed. Managing Director at 92Door LtdIt is a scam me and my family got scammed of £30,000 from this auction!Went to auction on 14th February exchanged contracts on 3 properties.Instructed a solicitor who advised me that he isnt taking on any clients from BPAuctions as they lie in contracts and he wants no further dealings with them.Instructed another solicitor who made me aware of the excessive fees on top of the purchase price. They write there contracts very cleverly, they write some fees in words rather than numerical format just to trick you out! After realising the excessive fees we still decided to go ahead. Went to all 3 properties to find out that 2/3 of them had been involved in a cannibis grow and had excessive damages. Not only was i stuck with excessive fees I also would of had to pay for the excessive damage due to this criminal activity. As a family we still decided on going ahead else we would lose our deposit money! As we progressed our solicitor Taylor Rose Solicitors advised us that BpAuctions do not have a title of registry and therefore completion can’t take place. Devastated at this I on a number of occassions tried to get in touch with bpauctions to which they would ignore my calls or email tell me they would call me back to never receive a call back. One property exchanged to which we had to pay excessive fees for aswell as pay alot of money on the damages of this property. The other two properties due to bp auctions not having a title registry couldnt progress. I asked for an extension to which I was told that it was fine and to continue with completion to then find out that the house had been auction again on 17th may. Having seen this I contacted BPauctions immediately asking them how am i exchanging on a property that you are reauctioning to then be told that its an advertising stunt and not real and to ignore this. Again I believed them even though its strange for an auction house to fake a auction on a property that I was meant to be completing on.Again for many weeks I continued to ring Bpauctions to be told by receptionists the guy who goes by various names whatever he wishes to be known as wasnt available or would get back to me. I was fobbed off for weeks to then get a measly email from them saying they couldn’t give me an extension. I would like to make as many people aware of how they con and scam innocent vulnerable people out of thousands of pounds. Its a shame to say that there are such people out there. Please be aware before you get scammed like we did I wouldn’t want anyone to ever be in the position that we are. They are also trying to hide my reviews online so that they can suppress the truth.

Scammers

This auction house was associated with rightmove and has little or no communication with buyers to take deposits then inflate their fees and try and scam you into paying they know what they are doing and the staff must be part of this scam beware legal action is the only option

They are crooks (excuse my language)

They are crooks (excuse my language), they are not transparent and fair at all. As soon as you win the bid, you will be hit by the special conditions with unlawful, unfair and hidden exponential costs. I am taking legal action against them. I would advise everyone to stay away from them please, please, please.

They facilitate a number of shady vendors with dodgy papers. I couldn't spot these but my solicitor did however at that stage I was already out of pocket. I would recommend buyers to go through paperwork and don't assume this auction house is only sell properties on a straight line.

Hi, I am reaching out to other victims of this company’s deceitful conduct. I’ve created a FB page called action against BP Auction if you’d like to join, to seek justice and hopefully put an end to all of this and stop them from scamming anyone else.
