GoogleAbysmal service for tennants. Still awaiting deposit to be returned 6+ weeks later. Beware of this estate agent. This estate agent do not care for tennants I was without heating and hot water for months, their excuse is the landlord opted to self maintain the property. They do not help, do not reply to emails. More alarming is I HAVE NOT YET RECEIVED my DEPOSIT funds out of dispute over 1 month later. I paid rent in full on time, left the property early on 25th May, 7th July I am STILL awaiting payment. I called 4 times over a week to get a reply which then received contradictory information on if the payment is made or not. I am owed £1,171 and so far told it is authorised and takes 5 days to clear. It's been 10 business days Absolutely unacceptable. I paid 3 months in advance + deposit of £2048 + guarantor. Yet they cannot reciprocate returning funds in a timely manner. Worst experience of renting.

GoogleI recently spoke to Emily at Bairstow regarding the potential letting of my current property as I look to move abroad, and she was able to provide a range of different options for the let, and advised on the pros and cons of the various tenancies. We are now moving forward with a short-term let and Emily has successfully secured some lovely tenants who I trust to look after my home until I return.

GoogleWe moved into rented accommodation in September 22 and with the help of Lauren and Samantha, the move went very smoothly. Both were extremely helpful, patient, and friendly. I was becoming extremely near to becoming homeless, I had been looking for a property for around a year and Bairstows were the only agents to put effort into finding me a place to live. This is my first time renting my own place and Emily has been great at explaining the various processes and sorting out my queries, even down to calling to check on how things were going after the first week and if there was anything I needed her to look into. I can honestly say I have changed my mind because of the professional courteous behaviour of a lovely lady called Sandy in this branch. GoogleI'm very very happy with the service that Emily has given us over the last couple of years or so. She's been very proactive and has offered useful advice on many occasions. I never have to chase for results. There were previously long standing teething problems with the service offered; but as soon as Emily got involved, these were all dealt with very quickly and efficiently. Thanks very much Emily.
