I sold my Flat with Regency and can not rate them high enough. Although it was only a 1 bed flat they still gave it the best attention. I had a few quotes and was left feeling like it wasn’t worth anyone’s time from other estate agents, but after Lee’s visit I was left feeling confident. They managed to sell my flat after only one viewing!! Not only did they make the process run smoothly and put their all into it but they also kept me updated on my further purchase, which Bond Oxborough weren’t very good at. They truly went above and beyond. Regency would be my first choice in future hands down. Well done and thank you for your hard work 😃 it’s very appreciated

Fantastic service

Regency were absolutely fantastic with the sale of our home. Special mention to Teresa for her hard work and tenacity getting the sale over the line at the end. The sale took time but this was at no fault of Regency this was issues further in the chain. The whole team had fantastic customer relations and always responded to me when I made contact. The social media was great when advertising our home online. Would most definitely recommend to anyone.

Great Experience! Josh was instrumental in us finding and expediting the completion on our new home. I originally made an appointment with Josh to see what turned out to be our new house. My family and I drove by the property and concluded that it wasn't what we thought we were looking for. In fact, I rudely neglected to cancel the appointment I had made with Josh. He graciously accepted my apology when he followed up on the phone. We eventually met Josh at a different property that we thought would be more to our liking. Josh was very pleasant and candid with his insights and market knowledge. He hit it off with the whole family. He listened to our comments and concerns and suggested we take a close look at the original property. Gratefully we took him up on his suggestion. We found the house we didn't know we were looking for. We had recently relocated from the US to be closer to our extended UK family. We were struggling with the overheated local property market and the very different home conveyance process. We needed to complete as soon as possible. We could not afford to get bogged down in an extended and nebulous conveyance chain. Josh worked with the Vendor and our Solicitor to get us into the home in an acceptable time frame. Further He promptly followed up on our numerous and anxious inquiries throughout the process. We are very happy with new home and grateful to Josh and the whole Regency Estate Agents team.

We would highly recommend Regency to sell your property. It’s good to work with people that take the time to consider what you need to secure a sale. We were selling a country property that had good kerb appeal but needed a lot of work so Neil’s idea was to create the lifestyle image in the buyer’s mind by the sale particulars, which were excellent, and to talk to each party interested, even offering to drive them to the property to instil that lifestyle image in their minds. It worked a treat and we sold on the second viewing. It’s worth noting we had marketed for a year with one of his competitors without success. We would not hesitate to recommend Neil, Lee, Teresa and the team for marketing and after sales care which Tereca handled extremely well too.

When we originally purchased our house, which was a new-build at the time, Regency Estate Agents were the vendor’s agent. Naturally they acted on behalf of the vendors but nevertheless, were very supportive to us, keeping us informed of progress on the sale / purchase on a regular basis and providing a conduit of dialogue between the vendor and ourselves. Now, some 14 years later, Regency Estate Agents was our natural choice when we wanted to sell because of the service provided many years ago. We place great store on employing local businesses and with their sound knowledge of the North Devon housing market, we knew we would be in good hands. This choice has certainly been justified. The agency’s owner, Neil aided by his business partner, Lee, have maintained a close contact with us throughout the selling process, always available to give advice where needed. Both partners ensured that they had an intimate knowledge of our property and one of them always personally conducted every viewing. Every viewing was then followed up with the potential purchaser and feedback provided to us expeditiously. Having now secured a successful sale it should be said that our purchasers have also expressed their delight in the way that Lee, on this occasion, has kept in close contact with them throughout the sale negotiations. This mirrors what we experienced 14 years ago.

Excellent Service from Beginning to End!

From valuation through to completion the service given by Regency was excellent. The details produced were good and needed no amendment by me. Negotiation was carried out on my behalf sensibly and once a sale had been established I was kept up to date on a very regular basis as to what was happening. Nothing was too much trouble even popping back to the property for me to take meter readings! I would highly recommend Regency to anyone needing to use an Estate Agent in Bideford. Also the old saying "you get what you pay for" isn't true in this instance as they were actually cheaper than the other Agents I approached. Many thanks in particular to Neil and Lee.

Perfect service - 10/10

We spoke to Regency about our needs as a perspective landlord in and around the Bideford area, we were new to both the area and the prospect of being a landlord. Lee and the office staff were very helpful, knowledgeable and approachable about perspective properties - they helped us make the right choice and kept us informed at every stage of the process. Once the purchase was finalised we spoke to Carl (lettings) who visited the properties, gave us guidance and was more than helpful, he kept us informed of perspective tenants and their feedback. It was only a few days before we'd found excellent tenants for both of our properties. I'd definitely use them again without hesitation, when required they went the extra mile for us. I can honestly say they are the best agents I’ve bought or sold houses through.

Approachable. Hard working. Dedicated. Perfectionist attitude.

Unfortunately for me Regency were the fourth estate agents i had approached/used to sell my house. The first agents were too pushy, intimidating, rude and un realisitic. The second was late and had no clue on taking photos to market the property and stood on my furniture with his shoes on!!! The third company was old fashioned, too relaxed and not enthusiastic at all. I had 3 viewings in many months and i had almost given up by now. My last desperate try and fourth choice of agents was Regency. As soon as i stepped into the new office i wish i had used them sooner. Finally 'normal', friendly, polite, approachable people who told it like it is & wanted to sell my house! What a relief for me: a dis heartened person who's house no one wanted to buy. Neil was polite & casual in giving me information and didnt put any pressure on my to sign up with them. He showed me their marketing portfolios and arranged for Lee to visit. Lee had such a pro active attitude and advised me how we can go forward to re market the property and get it sold. He seemed enthusiastic, focused and a perfectionist. The photos were good minus the outside to which he came back on a sunday to re take the photo when the sun was out showing the house in a better light. The viewings flooded in and i was kept informed at every step. I am hard of hearing and so they did not mind my constant emails. My questions or queries i put forward were dealt with and i didnt once feel like i was pestering them, although im sure i did. Their fee is competitive and at a fixed rate no matter how much the property sells for. Me being the ever sceptical person, presumed lee/regency as a typical agent would encourage me to settle for any offer as he still gets his fixed rate regardless. Business is business to them..I was very wrong as lee pushed a potential buyer for more money ontop of what they offered and did so sucessfully. I would of settled for the lower offer but he advised me to trust him to try and get more money as he felt the house was worth it. I felt completely confident he would do his best and get a fair deal for me and the buyer and he did. Deal done!!! I am incredibly particular about how i get treated as a customer and good customer service is expected when i am paying. Regency exceeded my expectations and i have already recommended them to friends and family. I may return to the area in a few years to buy a property again and i know which agents i will be going too. Regency!!! Other agents could learn alot from regency and i hope regency expand as they give estate agents a good name.

Great Service

Right from the start and the finish of my property sale Neil Armstrong and his team took me through all that they could offer me and all they could do for me. They did not dissapiont, fresh photos done new write up, and on the market straight away, within the frist week of being advertised a number of viewings had been set up. Worth the fee!
