Thomas Merrifield provided us with the best service we could ask for and we recommend them highly to anyone looking to sell property, and particularly the Bicester office. We had three valuations done on the property we were selling (an old listed cottage in Launton near Bicester). We chose Thomas Merrifield as our estate agents due to the friendly yet professional approach of Jon who made the valuation and the obvious experience he and Thomas Merrifield in general had selling properties of the same type both within Launton and the surrounding area. Thomas Merrifield produced a lovely brochure for the cottage, with great pictures and description. They also posted the cottage to online property selling sites and arranged viewing days which they facilitated on our behalf. Through out the sale process, Jon kept in regular touch and at all times provided us with wise counsel without being directive and was also able to steer us through every issue that arose, and even facilitated a local craftsman to come in and do some emergency work on our behalf. He also kept in regular touch with the buyer and both our solicitors to ensure the sale kept moving forward. We also found all the staff at Thomas Merrifield to be very friendly both in person and over the phone. We were always welcomed warmly when we visited the office. Sarah even visited the cottage weekly to keep a check on it for us while it was vacant which was a great help as we were selling from south of London. We cannot rate Thomas Merrifield (Bicester) highly enough as estate agents, they went above and beyond our expectation, such that it really was a pleasure to be selling through them even through those stressful periods that occur when selling any property.

GoogleWe have just exchanged on our house where Thomas Merrifield were acting on our behalf as our Agents. From the first visit by Jon Warrell to secure the commission (against other local Agents) to exchanging contracts, the whole team at Thomas Merrifield have been professional, knowledgeable, pro-active and supportive throughout the whole process. Jon, Sharon, Gemma, Sarah and the team have kept in regular contact and provided us with experienced and sensible advice in order to make our house sale as smooth as possible. Their understanding of the current market conditions provided us with a positive and realistic house sales price, supported by a high-quality sales brochure/particulars and details that were advertised both locally and nationally on all of the main UK property websites. The local team were then always on-hand to provide potential, interested buyers with an in-depth knowledge of the benefits of our property, including the Village we live in and the wider surrounding area. As such, they immediately generated a significant number of viewings and we accepted an offer on our house in just over one week. In the post acceptance of offer stage, the Thomas Merrifield team and Sharon, in particular, were in constant contact with us, our buyers and both Solicitors in calmly pushing things on, whilst ensuring all parties were happy, up to and including exchange of contracts. We couldn't rate the Bicester Thomas Merrifield team any higher. We would recommend them to anyone.

I would like to say that the team led by Jon Warrell have done an amazing job throughout the whole sales process, from valuations at the off plan stage right the way through to handing over the keys on the final plot.
