Tom From chipping Norton was easy to deal with, friendly and most of all not pushy!!!! He helped us along the way and made it a lot easier to go through the moving process. Would recommend Tom as well as other members of staff!

Excellent service from Chancellors. They managed to find a buyer for my property in just a few weeks and also found me the ideal new property to move to. They were very helpful & professional throughout the sales and conveyancing process and I would be happy to use them again. So thank you to Alistair, Ellie and all the team at Chancellors Bicester. Highly Recommended.

Annie Walsh and her team in the Bicester Branch proved to be a very supportive and proactive group providing advice and a step by step guide to me as a first timer renting my property out. I would definitely use their services again in any future property transactions and will be happy in the knowledge that Annie and the team will continue to look after my property during the current letting period.

I was looking for a place to rent and Callum showed me around 4 properties. I decided to go with the first one and Chris went to extra mile to arrange a second viewing in the evening hours after my initial appointment couldn't go through at the original time and I was leaving the area. The handling of the paper work was smooth and Chris and Annie answered all my questions satisfactory.

Verry unprofessional company. I was trying to rent a property and was left waiting for an answer for more the 2 weeks. They left me without any contact or guidence during the process! After several visits to their estate agents in Bicester, I was told the property was available and acceptable to view however, I was never contacted by an agent afterwards. I would not recommend this estate agents! Especially, Jack Gill who was the agent deal with my property search.

Hi Roman, we are disappointed that you have rated us only one star with no explanation as to the reason. We always seek to deliver a quality service as our overall scores and many 5* ratings on Google and other review sites demonstrate. Please contact Louise on louise.hughes@chancellors.co.uk if you have any questions we can assist with. Many thanks.

Alistair Millar and the rest of the team have been fantastic in dealing with a house that was on the market but then removed due to a separate buy-out agreement made. They showed huge patience and were generous with their time helping with a matter that, in the end, was of no benefit to them. They will be first on my call list next time I am buying or selling property :-)

Zsofia Szam and Lauren Jeffries are amazing. It was my first time to rent the house in England, but everything went very smoothly thanks to them. They were very helpful and kind. I will refer this estate agency to my friends, and colleagues who need real estate assistance in the future. Thank you for all your care and attention. You’re the best!

We have recently sold our property with Channcelors, our agent Adam was very professional and always understood our aims. We could always rely on quick respond from chancellors and Adam. What we really appreciate was opening times which allow us to contact office after regular work hours. I am glad that we have chosen Chancellors and when we will decide to buy a property we will seek theirs assistance again ;)

Went there personally to collect some info of houses or flats available with one room or two! The young gentleman was indeed available to collect my email/mobile number and what i was looking for. Replied at the spot that he will send an email or phone call. Never did. After two week's ,i went there again and asked if he had some news since the lack of communication was really poor and house's were available on web just like I asked, he just answered "I think a sent you an email,I think!" . Never i received an email or a call..it's a petty that 8hours a day sitting down in front of a computer and not one email or call! Costumers should receive an email or call even with a negative answer or something , that shows respect and competence and good quality costumer service .

My wife and I have bought about a dozen houses between us over the years, and the process has usually been a vale of tears. Not for nothing does it rank in the top three most unpleasant processes to endure, along with bereavement and divorce. However, we are great believers in credit where it's due. The Chancellors staff we've dealt with have all done a first-class job, helping to lube the process wherever they could. Jennifer Dowden looking after rental issues, and Abbey Allan in the sales progression team, have both been a great help. However, a special mention in dispatches must go to Daniel Brennan in the Bicester office. Daniel has fully grasped the value of continuous communication. He has the wit to know that a telephone call with no news, is still a call worth making. He's done Chancellors proud.PositiveResponsiveness, Professionalism

They are the worst. Lie and change staff every week so no one knows what's going on they have to rely on notes. They let the landlord break the contract upon moving in, should have seen this as a warning. When I returned the keys same day of receiving them I was told to keep them and they will sort it out. A year later, my whole tenancy duration was full of lies, unprofessionalism. We have been given notice because the landlord is selling the property which is fair enough but now I see they have put it on the market for rent again. Lies after lies.

Katrina · 22 May 2024

It's really disappointing. We moved from London to Bicester and rented through Chancellors. The contract included a clause about viewings because the landlord intended to sell the property, but this was NOT ONCE mentioned in person to us. After a year, we received notice because the landlord was supposedly 'keen to sell', only to see the property listed for long-term rent again. This means the next tenants will face the same issue. DO NOT TRUST THEM. Make sure to read every single word in the contract and don not let them rush you into signing it.

I moved into a flat recently and chancellors lied to me about a number of things, my flat is £750 a month plus bills. They said there was heating and gas connected and they lied, multiple times in writing, they also forgot to write in tenancy that they gave my neighbours upstairs a key to my property to access my flat whilst I'm out, they lied about this over and over again until the neighbours actually locked me in my own flat because they 'arent comfortable with my background and me being on benefits' (one of the male students was caught peering through my window as I changed and weirdly chancellors have tricked me and caused me to be completely suicidal due to what they have done to me, I got this place in seek of refuge and chancellors EXPLOITED me.

We had a viewing booked on a property in chalgrove 2 weeks ago - we had arranged childcare and were on our way to the viewing to then receive a phone call from the branch saying the viewing was cancelled as the property was already under offer and had been for over 2 weeks - when I asked why they accepted our viewing request they couldn’t give me an answer. Over the next couple of days I phoned up multiple times about visiting other properties they were listing, and was always told “I’ll get someone to call you back”. Never heard anything. Would absolutely avoid this estate agency. Totally unreliable and unprofessional and wasted lots of our time. Luckily we’ve found a gorgeous new home with another agency

Jayne Morris - Jayne first dealt with the letting of my house when she worked in Kington Office but then she moved to Chancellors head office but I am very pleased she is still looking after my property as I am more than happy with how professional and courteous Jayne is. Any matter arising with regards to my property is always dealt with immediately and I know I can rely on Jayne.
