Chancellors Bicester have been excellent throughout our house sale and purchase (especially Hugo, Rav and Charlotte). They have always been very responsive, no query is too much for them and they have gone out their way to let us view houses at a time that suits us. When following up with queries they have always come back very quickly. I would highly recommend using them!

Charlotte was quite possibly the best estate agent I've ever had. She showed us round multiple properties and also catered to our needs. We were moving to the area and her knowledge really showed through when helping us decide which home to purchase. She found us a lovely home and we're forever grateful for her service. Alagie has been wonderful to work with. He has been quick and easy to communicate with, which is something I haven't gotten from some of the other agencies. Alagie was very knowledgable and what I appreciated the most was his honesty. He didn't make me feel pressured to commit to a property and advocated that I should take the time to think about where I want to live instead of settling. I still decided to push forward since I am on a time crunch, but I hope to be able to work with him again if I choose to move.

We honestly couldn't be more pleased with the service we received from Chancellors in Bicester. They helped us both sell our house and buy our new home, and they were fantastic throughout the entire process. ​They went above and beyond at every single stage. Right at the start, they helped us secure the purchase of our new home before our own selling process had even fully begun. Because we lead incredibly busy lives, their reps, Rav and Charlotte, even went so far as to take our dogs out for walks while people viewed our house. ​At the other end of the process, they were incredibly helpful with getting us moved in and managing the communication with our new property's vendor. From start to finish, the experience was seamless. ​A particular thanks to Rav, Charlotte, and Hugo, who were all absolutely brilliant. We are very glad we chose to work with them!

We overall had a lovely house viewing but on initial visit we had a really bad experience. We where greeted by zayd, he initially came across very judgemental and rude to be honest. He seemed to be very unprofessional in his body language and seemed to judge me and my girlfriend. He questioned if we where partners in a way that made us feel a little uncomfortable to be honest. Overall he just made us feel uncomfortable and unwelcome. However we did go on a house viewing, and where shown a great property but another women in the lettings department. She was really friendly and inclusive and welcoming she made us feel so comfortable. I think her name was chante? Overall we didn't go through with the house due to our experience and overall approach.

My property was with another letting agent and after 2 months had very little interest. I was recommended Chancellors in Bicester. At first I was sceptical as the perception of a large well known organisation might be impersonal. I was completely wrong. I met with the lettings manager, Richard Chaudry, and was highly impressed from the start. They had clients viewing within 48 hours! I was introduced to his team Zsofia and Ben. They were both highly professional, engaging and very personable. Richard Chaudry provided a regular weekly statistical update on parties showing interest and responses by those who had viewed the property. This was invaluable. Richard Chaudry was pivotal in motivating his team to provide the best customer friendly and professional service. The follow up from Chancellors HQ was unexpected and once again personal, friendly, very professional and efficient. Very pleased and I would highly recommend Chancellors.

Ok i did write an in depth review but it was too many characters, so here is a short version. Zsofia, great no problems, wish she could have dealt with us all the way through. After Zsofia we dealt with Ben and Amy. (amongst others, I think about 6 people in total). As a company, and we have rented for 20 years, this is the worst we have ever experienced. They discriminate against self employed people so if you are self employed look elsewhere. They lie and play the landlord and tenant against one another. They change the contract at the last minute, just wait until a few hours before you move and send an amendment changing the 12 month contract and no increase for 2 years, to a 6 month rolling contract! When you call in a panic because documents aren't in place a few hours before the move they laugh at you. Send them 2 years tax returns and 6 months bank statements and this is not enough, they will fail your referencing because you clearly aren't fitting the profile they are after. This is the tip of the iceberg. horrendous and insulting. Like children in a playground having a big laugh at your expense, and they wanted me to pay £1600 for the privilege. I'm not even going to go into the Letting Hub app you must use. Completely useless and an absolute waste of time. Should be ashamed of themselves. To the manager, if you would like my original description of what happened which is quite in depth please let me know and I will email it to you. Your staff will know who this is.

We have been dealing with Zsofia Szam since September of 2021, when I first spoke to her about a rental property for myself, my partner and his mother. Since that time Zsofia has been indispensable as a contact for us and has demonstrated great professionalism and assistance I various aspects of our rental journey, including our latest stage of looking into a larger property and helping arrange viewings and application.
