GoogleColin and the team at Barton Flemming were fantastic when selling our house! We were kept up to date throughout the process, our house was listed on Tuesday and sale agreed the following Monday post a weekend of 15+ viewings. Sadly our buyer suffered from mental health issues and Colin was great at alleviating the impact from our perspective. Wouldn’t use anyone else when selling my house.

GoogleBrilliant service from these guys. The pictures they took were excellent. My house sold in 5 days, first viewing. I used their recommended Solicitors too, they took no money for costs until the point of exchange. If it fell through, no fees to pay. Highly recommend these guys, start to finish the whole process was easy and trouble free.

From the initial viewing (organised by Terry who squeezed us in very quickly) to getting the keys, everyone we spoke to was accommodating and professional. Special mention to Liam who had great communication and was always prepared to deal with any problems or questions quickly and efficiently. We will definitely be recommending Barton Fleming!

GoogleWe recently purchased our house through Barton Fleming, and I honestly cannot recommend them enough. Our sale was handled by Liam and he went above and beyond, was always contactable and fully up to date with what stage everything was at. Always got back to us quickly and professionally. He made sure everything ran smoothly and ended up managing the whole chain even though we didn't sell through Barton Fleming (I will if we ever move again!!). Even if I called for the 5th time that day to ask one more question Liam was nothing but lovely and helpful.

GoogleThis is the third time we have used Colin and Matthew and the team to move homes and every time they have been outstanding. More so with our last move due to the bottom of the chain dragging their feet. Colin was superb always keeping us in the loop from start to finish. We couldn’t have wished for anymore from an estate agent. Having spoken to other agents over the years they all pale in comparison to this team. From initial valuation to photos taken (which were exceptional) right through to completion they never let us down and we would most definitely use them again to sell our property. Highly recommend them to any seller or buyer.

GoogleThe team at Barton Fleming (and Colin more specifically) were brilliant right from the outset. Our sale began with a swift and honest valuation, shortly followed by some excellent photographs. At a difficult time for house sales, we sold to our first viewing. Whilst it's fair to say that there were delays down the chain, Colin and the team went above and beyond to help us secure a timely sale and get our move completed. Not only would I recommend, but personally thank the team for all of their help from start to finish. Cheers guys.

GoogleNow that we have the internet back up and running and we are settled in our new home, I thought now is the best time to post my review. You only have to read some of the reviews already on here to see that Colin, Matthew and Terry are professional, welcoming and friendly. Our review continues this trend and we certainly recommend to anyone who is looking to sell or buy a property to use Barton Fleming. Colin, Matthew and Terry were all involved in the sale of our old property and purchase of our new one. When it came time to market our old house it was done in a friendly professional manner, the pictures taken and the brochure which was produced looked fantastic. During the whole sale process of our property they were brilliant, kept us updated and offering advice. We are thankful that we also were able to buy our new home with them as this not only made the whole process much easier, but we also knew that we were in good hands. Nothing is too much trouble for the guys here and we couldn’t recommend them enough. When we would go into the office we were always made to feel welcome and always offered a cup of tea. Barton Fleming are not your typical estate agents, they quite simply are great at what they do and what others should aspire to be like. Dear Chris (C & H too), Thanks for your kind review. Every once in a while there is a case that stands out as being more awkward than the norm and this was clearly one of them. When the chain collapsed was an extreme moment but fortunately we came up with the plan to kick it back into life, which worked and everybody got to move. Your direct engagement with the plan was pivotal and thanks for holding faith and being brave. This was one of those cases where most of the chain bonded together in unity and saved the day. GoogleHaving spent almost 2 years looking for a home in Bicester, we found out of all the estate agents Barton Flemming and especially Colin to be the most knowledgeable about the the properties, the area and the buying process. Having secured an offer on a house the process was one of the most drawn out processes me and my girlfriend have undertaken but thankfully Colin was on hand to push the relevant parties to ensure that the sale completed. I would use the services of Barton Fleming again and would certainly recommend other to do so as well.

Colin Barton (one of the directors) went above and beyond what we would have expected to ensure that the long chain that we were involved in worked together to achieve a complicated move. Always available by telephone and email, and quick to provide solutions to any problems that were encountered, Colin and his team worked extremely hard. We couldn't recommend Barton Fleming more, and will be sure to use them when we come to moving again.

Barton Fleming identified a timescale of when they anticipated getting an offer for our home and they delivered! Not only this, but when we had a few hiccups with our purchase chain, Colin and Terry were able to negotiate with our buyers so we were eventually able to complete on both our sale and purchase. It was photographed on the Wednesday, on the website Thursday, and it was sold Friday to the second viewing through the door! I had my offer accepted on our new house the next day so remarkably all done and dusted in four days. Everything was smooth, fast and professional and i can't recommend them enough. GoogleWe sold our house and purchased our new house in September 2014 through Barton Fleming. From the very beginning Colin was extremely friendly, helpful and above all professional. His attention to detail for creating the sale advert and eye for the perfect pictures were second to none. The information flow from both the sale side and purchase side (from both Colin and Terry) were clear and concise and often well ahead of the information being recieved from the solicitors. Any request we had regarding viewings, or timeline of events (we were buying and selling as a combination for the first time) were explained and we were made to feel like someone was working for our best interests. (Thanks Terry!) We made use of the onsite financial services, which was a very pleasant experience. Simon took the time to show me through the different mortgage options and what it would mean by using different mortgage companies, shorter/ longer term, etc. I would certainly use the services again in the future for re-mortgaging purposes. In summary, Whilst im not looking to move house again, I have recommended to friends and family to use Barton Fleming estate agents and financial services. (i see in the reviews that one of my friends has used Barton Fleming since i advised him and he also had a good experience). I would like to take the opportunity to thank the team at Barton Fleming for their support, this was friendly, considerate to our needs, detailed, professional with a keen eye to keep in mind what is important....the client (you).
