First time buyer great experience!

Bought my first house from Robinson Jackson Gravesend branch. I cannot fault them in their help and support during the time of the buying process. Buying a house is stressful enough as a first time buyer but this branch help give me clear instructions in each step of the process. It did not help as house was part of a 4 part chain but i received calls weekly and emails to help reassure me the process was still being followed through. Also were prompt with answering any queries i had and if i was unsure what would happen next, they clearly explained the process. Special thanks to Tammy. From the very beginning, she went above and beyond in every possible way. Tammy was incredibly responsive, always available to answer our questions, and kept us in the loop at every stage of the process. Even went above and beyond chasing documents with our solicitor and buyers solicitor to ensure the sale was proceeding. Tammy’s commitment and dedication are unmatched, she truly had our best interests at heart and made us feel like her top priority. Even near to exchange we had booked a holiday and was worried about delays as it was already delayed by the 3rd party in the chain. Tammy gave clear and good advice on what to do and what to expect during completion so we could go on holiday relaxed and reassured it would all go ahead. If you’re looking for an agent who is reliable, knowledgeable, and goes the extra mile, I can’t recommend Tammy highly enough. I would like to mention her colleagues who also helped during the process such as Nicola and Jo who also helped sending updates and moving the process along.They even held the keys for me till i came back from Holiday and promptly handed them over so we could move in. I would not hesitate to use them again in the future whether it would be selling or buying.

Awful Experience as a Buyer at the Chatham Branch

I had a very disappointing experience with the Chatham branch of Robinson Michael Jackson, specifically with the handling of my purchase by Kiran. As a first-time buyer, I made every effort to carry out proper due diligence, including requesting a second viewing shortly after my offer was accepted. This was not facilitated for several months, despite multiple requests, and even after I had already paid for a survey. This delay meant that when I was finally able to revisit the property, it was very late in the process and close to the seller’s intended completion date. During the second viewing, I identified an issue that required further inspection by a builder, which I had to arrange at short notice and additional cost due to the delays. When raising this, I was met with an unhelpful and dismissive response, being told that my surveyor “should have picked it up,” despite the fact the survey had been carried out months earlier. When I attempted to renegotiate based on professional advice, I felt significant pressure was applied due to the seller’s timeline, culminating in being told “we will not be doing business with you.” This came across as highly unprofessional and inappropriate, particularly given my position in the chain as a first-time buyer. Communication throughout was poor, and there was a lack of consideration for my position in the transaction. The process felt rushed at the end due to earlier delays that were not of my making. I will say that Sam, the branch manager, did step in and made a genuine effort to resolve matters, which I appreciated. However, this does not outweigh the overall experience. Based on my experience, I found the service to be unprofessional, poorly managed, and not supportive of a buyer acting in good faith.

Poor communication and luck of EMPATHY

I was looking for a property in Kent and i came across this company online, looked through what was available and in my price range , i called in and i was told i would be contacted back to send in my DIP. I have never experienced such unprofessionalism in my life. I feel like they wanted to dictate what i bought or the property was never available. The tone one of the agents used was argumentative and authoritative. I.e. asking us why we were moving to Kent ETC at which i responded it was our choice . Then again i thought , how do you ask someone you are selling property to that kind of question? It just didn't seem right so i did some digging and some research on here and I'm not surprised. I have removed them from my search engine , no history , nothing, i don't wanna deal with them, it's my money and house i spend it and on what property and where is my business otherwise these people are a joke of time wasters. good luck to the lucky ones that acquired good services from them and all the best to whoever is dealing with them. We will be looking and buying somewhere else. Thanks.

What is it with estate agents pricing properties from £xxxx-£xxxx , recently viewed a property, put an offer but surprise, surprise it is nowhere near what the delusional seller wants ,wasting everyone’s time. Easy and clear process

From Jack coming and talking us through the sales process it was simple no pressure came with information on local sales and what they could do for us, our home sold on the first open house, the sales team in the office have been brilliant especially Tammy getting us over the final huddle and last minute glitches keeping us informed they have made the whole process as stress free as moving house can be! Worst rental service ever!

Worst ever service I have received from any organisation. Pure incompetence, to say the least. Rented a property with them and at move in, property was at best filthy. This was after they lied during the viewing that the property would be painted and cleaned. Heating in the home not working. Made them aware that I have 3 children with me at the time, they didn’t even care. Don’t use them if you don’t want heartache. Regrets all the way. Never been so stressed in my life.
