I had a very long and very stressful journey in trying to buy a house, and a sale fell through which lead me to a viewing with Burgess and Co. I instantly fell in love with the property and from that point onwards, Burgess and Co were absolutely excellent with communication (which I had not had such luck with previously) and were a driving force for help for both the seller and I. They talked me through every step of the process and gave me reassurance whenever it was needed and I felt very thought about by the team. Every time I spoke to anyone in the team I felt reassured and confident in the sale, which was a breath of fresh air compared to what I had dealt with previously. After losing my sister and having to sell her bungalow....we decided to go with Burgess & Co.We found them to be extremely energetic, proactive, kind, respectful, helpful and very sympathetic to our needs due to our sad loss! What can I say? Brilliant service.

What can I say? Brilliant service. Burgess and co are a cut above the rest of the agents in the St Leonards and Hastings area. I’m not related to anyone that set up the company, but credit where credit is due. All the staff are friendly and efficient. The directors go the extra mile to work out a solution, if there are problems, after an offer accepted rather than just forwarding emails for comment. I had a particularly stressful chain with anything that could go wrong-going wrong! I always felt I could rely on Ben to give me an honest appraisal whilst maintaining calm whilst I was panicking. I’ve moved 9 times in my life and never thought I’d find an honest estate agent, I think I just did.

After a traumatic London sale, I thought I was put off from house buying ever again, but the team at Burgess & Co came into my life. From the first viewing with Jesse, I knew I was in good hands, on second visit, owner Paul patiently answered all my questions and really knows the local area and its nuances. Burgess & Co recently sold my parent's home for my brother and I as part of our inheritance. The house went on the market at a difficult time, with prices falling and the market very quiet.The advice about the sale they gave to my brother and myself was extremely useful and professional. Despite losing one sale after many months of trying, they continued to work hard to get us the best price, and kept us up do date with all progress even when there was little to report. We never had to chase them for any information and always felt they were "on the case".I would highly recommend Burgess & Co for their guidance, hard work, and professionalism throughout the process, and for their friendly attitude at all times. I have moved house many times, but seldom had such a good experience with any other estate agent.
