*Upon initial viewing of property we asked for some minor fixes which were agreed and not delivered.*Upon exiting tenancy tried to charge us for the above fixes, taking the proverbial.*Staff unhelpful, unfriendly, rude, particularly in Chapel Allerton. Headingly a bit better to be fair to them.*Threw away some clothing items accidently left at the property upon departure without even asking if I could collect. Some of them were expensive.*Completely over zealous and unfair cleaning charges upon exit of property. We left it in the same condition. They take dozens of photos so make sure you do the same if you're ever unfortunate enough to let a property from this lot.*Do not deal with Linley and Simpson Leeds. They are awful, even for estate agents.*Linley and Simpson Leeds Reviews, Linley and Simpson Chapel Allerton Review, Linley and Simson Headingly Review.

My partner had signed for a house 2 months ago, signed all the papers and guarantor, fees etc. Was told 3 different move-in dates for them to be cancelled, on the day due to branch “miscommunication” and issues within the office. This resulted to him sleeping in his van for months, to which they knew, and did not pull themselves together as a team to sort out the logistics of the contract. After constant nattering between the Leeds and York office, they actually scared off the landlord. Who apparently has been “put off” by Linley and Simpson (York). Called into a meeting today and told he no longer wants to rent and is going to sell privately. And they could have a different property set up for a weeks time. After 2 months of waiting and keeping nearly £3000 deposit, I can say I am truly dissatisfied with their agency. I myself, believe I could’ve done a quicker and better job. 0/5 stars. The only thing can be grateful for is that they were apologetic and are going to compensate. An utter mess.

Zero service, zero care for customers, zero communication, zero interest in problem solving even if their client comes up with a proposition. I don’t understand how can someone operate a business this way. This company deserves to go bankrupt. You pay them and expect to get something back? No, you pay them and get screwed. I’d rather live on the street than sign a contract with them again.

I have been renting with the York branch for a couple of years and have been stuck with them over the pandemic. I have been renting for years with many agencies but these are the absolute worst Ive never lived anywhere that has felt less like a home where they have flouted many their own tenancy rules cared very little for the state of the property and allowed the landlord to act more like an over bearing parent !!Absolute nightmare avoid renting through them at all costs !!!
