GoogleI use Northwood as my letting agents. Over the past year and a half, I have had to chase them on more than one occasion to get my rent from them, in their eyes this is fully acceptable (they give themselves a maximum of 14 days to get your rent to you before you can charge them any interest!!!!). The workmen they use for repairs must use gold plated tools as it costs a fortune!! One job I was quoted £60 for them to just go and look at the issue, I arranged my own workman to do the job and it cost me £15 in total!!! Think long and hard about using Northwood, I wish I hadn’t, but I’m stuck in a contract with them until August!!

Northwood Beverley and Hull have worked with a landlord named Daniel Smith for a significant number of years in the past (between 2011 and 2023), however to my recollection there were never any complaints about the levels of service delivered.

Thank you for your review. I understand your frustration, however we only took over management of the property in July23 through acquisition and only ever conducted one inspection during your tenancy which was in Sept23 prior to you moving out in Dec23.
We no longer work with this landlord as we are responsible agents that strive to provide safe and compliant properties for our tenants on behalf of our landlords. We will never knowingly let a property that does not meet compliance and/or safety requirements and will always work closely with our landlords to maintain standards for our tenants through regular inspections and maintenance activities.
I am sorry that you felt let down and that your expectations were not met by our predecessors.

It???s been about 2weeks we moved in and I must say James, John and the Northwood team made it seamless from the checks to the cleaning and the moving in itself- All stress free asides carrying my bags of course.
Utility bills engagement were sorted and it was a matter of if we wanted to continue or not. Furthermore there???s this moving box I saw for the first time with lots of goodies and household essential vouchers gifted to us by Northwood. No doubt they???re the best I???ve seen in my time in the UK so far. Kudos!!!
