GoogleWhen we started the process of selling our house in Belmont, we got four different well-established estate agents from Ballyhackamore out to look at it and advise on potential value, what price we should go to market with, and their rates. Some of the agents were so tiresome to show around, I wouldn't have trusted them to sell a Mars bar, never mind my house. UPS were engaged with us and the property, and came across with lots of positive energy and enthusiasm for the many strengths of the house. They made it very clear they wanted our business, including through offering a reduced fee if they didn't get us at least a specific price. This was a relatively small difference, but not nothing and wasn't offered at all by any of the other agents. Amongst the four, there was a massive variation in the suggestions as to what it should be put on the market at (by as much as 30%!!!) and what we might hope to actually get (by as much as 50%!!!). UPS were the only firm from the four that offered any rationale for the figures they were suggesting, which were the highest on both aspects. In the end, we completed for marginally higher than what UPS had quoted as the highest we might hope for. Their advice in this respect was spot on. Selling houses is an art, not an science and UPS Ballyhackamore are clearly masters of this art. If you are even thinking of selling a house in East Belfast, no matter who else you talk to, talk to UPS Ballyhackamore!!!!
