We have just concluded the sale of our house with Whiteley Helyar who have been exceptional from start to finish. Firstly we appreciated the honest and wise advice from Rupert firstly about price and marketing, and who achieved a high sale price for us just as promised. Our deal was done by Rowan who is worth his weight in solid gold and who again saved us thousands with his calm, wise advice. He called every part of the chain every Monday and when necessary made his presence felt with ineffective solicitors to get the chain moving. We have bought and sold many properties over the years and have never encountered such hard working, honest and wise agents. Do yourself a favour and don’t we swayed by those who profess to charge you less, go for the best and it will pay dividends. We are delighted with their service and would highly recommend.

Quite simply they were exceptional. They worked hard on our behalf and helped us to get our dream house within a matter of months! We were with another Bath estate agents before and we only had one viewing with them in 6 months! Dominic and Christine took over and we had a viewing (that ended up buying) within one day! I could not recommend Whiteley Helyar more highly for vendors considering listing their properties with them. We were fortunate enough to have an offer quite literally 24 hours of listing which led to the sale. We eventually completed our onward purchase on the day of lockdown. I'm sure luck played a small part, but our property had been on the market for a while, so Whiteley Helyar should take a sizeable portion of the credit. Dominic in particular was superb, though I know the whole WH team will have ultimately been responsible for pushing this one past the line. I feel they are particularly adept at keeping the pressure on both vendors and purchasers, when it counts - which ultimately is required to clinch the sale on both sides. It's good business and good for vendors and purchasers who need firm assistance to get the sale completed, which is what we all wanted. Myself and my partner recently purchased a property through Whiteley Helyar. We had a few stumbling-blocks along the way with regards to SDLT and the survey of the property which prolonged the purchase through no fault of Whiteley Helyar. Our search for a property in Bath took almost two years due to the aborted sale of our house on three occasions. Hence we had dealings with most of the agents in Bath at one time or another, with varying levels of satisfaction. One in particular stood out; Rupert Hart at Whiteley Helyar.
