We have just exchanged contracts on a a house in Bath, purchased through Whiteley Helyar. Our experience of working with them has been entirely positive, from first to last. They clearly work as a team but we have to highlight Emma Roberts who has been a class apart from any of the other agents in the chain - including our own selling agent ! Ably supported by Andy Hazleton, Emma was very knowledgeable about the property in detail, and during the inevitably tricky parts of the sales process was calm, positive and always supportive. Her grasp of the status of every part of the chain at all times was really impressive. The exchange day itself was very tense and tricky, but largely due to Emma it all turned out OK. Simply put - for us, Whiteley Helyar are all that is good about estate agents, and certainly the best we have ever worked with. Happy to recommend them unreservedly.

I can’t thank the team enough. My sale was complicated and very stressful towards the end but I couldn’t have been in better hands. Andy was caring, calm and reassuring from start to finish. A year ago I came back from abroad where I’had been living. A daughter came with me to bath to visit Estate Agents to see if I could find somewhere to live we had a hectic few days and visited about eight Estate Agents. At the end of the day we discussed our findings and without doubt we both experienced a very specialness in our meeting with Emma. It wasn’t until a month later I came looking again. I just want to emphasise how important it is to be listened to. This is what Emma does she listens she reflects and she’s on your case. Neither my daughter or I could fault her kindness and sensitivity she’s a very special Estate Agent who has much to offer her clients. Sadly, we didn’t buy anything through whitley and Heyler Because I was offered to purchase a flat, I was renting which I chose to do. But the kindness and patience I received I certainly shall never forget . And of course I have many other Estate Agents to compare my experience with and that’s why I can say without hesitation this is a very good one

Really happy to give the highest possible recommendation for Andrew Hazelton and the rest of the Whiteley Helyar team! When selling my central Bath flat I talked to 4 different estate agents, and Andrew came across as being the most "on my team". This was then borne out during the selling process, when the flat sold quickly and for a price other estate agents had winced at when I told them I was hoping for that amount! The process from offer accepted to completion was then a bit drawn out due to issues with the buyer's solicitor, but Andrew was fantastic throughout, calmly chivying people up when necessary. If I need an estate agent in the future, I'm going straight to Andrew!

I would highly recommend this estate agent to anyone in the area. Living in Yorkshire and having to sell my mother's house in Bath was inevitably going to be difficult. However Whiteley Heyar's very professional and approachable style made it a pleasure to work with them. Their valuation was spot on, their advice was readily available at all stages and they obtained an offer within the week. More importantly they helpfully guided me through the whole sale process liaising with purchasers solicitors and other agencies I needed to assist living so far away. I thought all estate agents were the same? They’re not I thought all estate agents just put an ad on Rightmove and sat back? They don’t Well, I still think most do but - not WHITELEY HELYAR. After four months on the market with another local agent, one viewing per week and no realistic offers, we met with Dominic who was very positive, practical, and professional. Within days, we had multiple viewings and soon had a great offer from a quality buyer. Emma Roberts handled the sale from viewing to exchange and, she was an absolute legend. Emma was so hard working, chasing the sale through, liaising with all parties and solicitors in the chain, with a 100% focus on securing the ‘exchange’. I have recently both sold and purchased a property with Whiteley Helyar and really cannot recommend them more - particularly Andy, who was amazing! The property I sold and multiple viewings straight after it went live - from which it was sold for above the asking price. The property I purchased with Whitely Helyar did eventually become a long process - however, Andy was asbolutely brilliant. His communication skills were superb and I was always kept in the know as to what was happening with who throughout the chain. In actual fact, Andy was better than the solicitor as he went above and beyond to make sure the sale completed and he definitely had the knowledge and know-how to ensure the whole process is as plain sailing as can be! Throw in his great sense of humour and the process became much more personal and less stressful! As for the business side of things, everything just seemed to flow easily and as said, even help to get a better price!
