From the point that I approached your team about letting the property, I was able to seek knowledgeable advice about what work was necessary to improve the building to command the highest possible return from the investment. Once the work was complete your team sprung into action photographing and marketing the property which was quickly let at the asking price. Excellent buying experience. They were easy to contact, very helpful, friendly and openly honest, a quality sadly lacking in some estate agents I have dealt with. They always arrived in plenty time for any viewings or phoned ahead to warn of any unanticipated delay, even when that was buy 1 minute! They were on top of the process from beginning to end, again something I've not experienced with other estate agents.

Everyone we were in contact with at Bath Stone Property were delightful and really helpful in regards to us moving into one of their properties. Louise was particularly helpful with sorting out our referencing situation. We had some trouble with 'Goodlord', the third party company used for referencing, as their customer service was quite poor which made it difficult to sort out a relatively simple problem. I would highly recommend Mark Naylor Lettings, they are a trustful agency and have very friendly staff like Anna. Before moving out in my final inspection, Anna gave me great advice on what cleaning needed to be conducted to ensure I received my full deposit back. She was also very quick to get back to me on any questions I had. Unlike most agencies, Mark Naylor Lettings conduct pre and final inspections to help tenants get their full deposit back.

We also ignored the review below as Mark Naylor has had an excellent reputation as an estate agent during the 25 years we've lived in Bath. Several of our neighbours have used him to buy and sell houses in this area and we've yet to hear anything critical. Today was the first time we used his services ourselves and we found him extremely helpful,completely professional and very giving of both time and advice.He does all this without putting any pressure at all on his clients; there's certainly no sense at all of a soft or hard sell. When the time comes to proceed further we will certainly use him - good estate agents can be hard to find and while Mark Naylor comes highly recommended it's now good to have first -hand experience.

We have had a fantastic, personal and caring service from Mark Naylor and his team. We cannot fault them. They sold the house within a week and were extremely considerate towards my elderly parents. They were very good at communicating with me but also took the trouble to drop in paper copies of everything to my parents. All the members of staff were lovely and we've just had a visit from them to say goodbye. Very highly recommended.

I'm a Landlord (flat owner) and after the misfortune of recently having to deal with Bath Stone Property (formerly Mark Naylor), due to the flat they manage leaking water into my flat below, I would recommend that Tenants and Landlords alike definitely do not use them as agents. I found them to be everything bad about a typical Housing Agent: Unresponsive - their basic email responses took up to a week, so constant phone calling was necessary in order to liaise. Arrogant - I found their underlying phone tone tinged with impatience/arrogance and their content typically lacking substance, full of the usual meaningless unhelpful generic jargon like 'we're looking into it', 'someone will be dealing with it'. Negligent - here's the worry for tenants. They appear to use substandard contractors and do not follow up checks on completed work. The leak from their flat that caused my damaged was 'fixed' by their contractor a week previously. It transpires that his 'fix' involved wrapping a towel around the leak, job signed off. No surprise then that a week later we found this towel soaking wet and water leaking into my flat below. Devious - Bath Stone Property refused to admit any responsibility for this leak when it was clearly down to their substandard contractor, and refused to pass on my concerns to the actual flat owner who they are 'managing' for, until I threatened a claim. Useless 'out of hours' emergency - again very worrying for tenants. Their emergency number was called by their tenant and by me on the Sunday morning and several times thereafter during the day because water was leaking directly into the working electrics of the flat below. The danger of this was clearly explained and obvious. With each call, the same generic response 'someone will be out to fix it soon'. At the end of the day the response became 'sorry we couldn't find anyone, please speak to the office when it opens Monday morning'. If they cant deal with this, a genuine and obvious emergency, what can they deal with? In summary then, useless and frustrating to deal with, would I recommend? Hell, no!

' At early March 2020 we have decided to move to Bath from London. We have moved in April just few weeks earlier my new job would have started. Due to the Covid-19 disease my hospitality workplace shut down as many other restaurant. At this point we were unsure what to do with our plan. The lockdown made us terrified, we watched a news every day regarding the government advise incase anyone moving home. We definitelly wanted to go on following the government advice and keep the social distancing, facemask, etc. I had a property viewing back in March with Selina from Bathstone Property who helped us with all sort of questions we had regarding the move. She was extremelly supportive to bring us through all the procedure. She managed the property to be ready for us in time. We are very grateful for her professional assistance in this difficult and unusual time. Overall the home move was a bit challanging and caused lots of fear during lockdown, but to look back now everything went greater than we thought it will be.
