We bought our house through bath stone in the midsomer Norton branch,Jordan was our first contact and was very easy to talk to and professional, nothing was too much trouble.Our main contact after viewing houses and deciding on one was Holly Parfrey,she has been marvelous and answering our questions without us feeling like we were a nuisance .Her cheery happy personality and good knowledge eased our panic when solicitor questions fazed us,I would highly recommend bath stone and they are so much better than the two estate agents we dealt with during the sale of our house in Bristol.Holly understood the stress of moving and did everything to help us by keeping in contact and telling us what was happening every step of the way,lovely people and I wish them all success for the future!!!

I was with Bath Stone not too long ago and i'm thoroughly disappointed with the lettings department. There were issues regarding the contract as we overpaid our deposit and it took 6 months of endless calls and emails never to be returned. The same excuses every time saying they'd get back to us. We even went to the agency to be told the relevant staff member was not present. And they never got back to us. If they did pick up, we were greeted with astoundable rudeness and dismissiveness. Finally after our tenancy ended, we went to higher ups, and we finally got our money back. But for such a reputable company, how does it take this long to resolve an issue. Very happy to say, me and the other tenants will not be having dealings with Bath Stone again. Please have a word with your lettings department and try to improve your customer service because our experience was awful. Best wishes.

We have been using Bath stone now for about 4 years. As landlords, over the last 8 years, we have had experience with lots of different letting and estate agents. Bath stone are the best letting agents by a long way. Their communication is excellent and are always quick to respond to emails or messages left by phone. Their screening process for tenants is really thorough and because of this we have always had great tenants. Their fees are competitive and well worth it. My main point of contact is Sue-Ellen. Although the other staff I’ve dealt with are helpful and very nice, Sue -Ellen is definitely my go to contact. She is patient with my questions and takes time to explain things that I don’t understand beyond the letting process. She is quick at responding, concise in her replies and super friendly with it! I have and will continue to recommend them to anyone looking for a letting agent. They actually send thank you gifts if a recommendation is followed through, which is a really nice gesture!

We completed on the sale of our house in August 2025 and we can say that we were absolutely pleased with the services supplied by Bath Stone. From the initial meeting at our house where Hanna explained the process and carried out a valuation we felt at ease and knew we would be happy to instruct them to act on our behalf. Despite selling in around five weeks we were disappointed when our prospective buyers were unable to proceed. Leila, our negotiator was quick to put us at ease and then quickly find us another buyer. All through the process from selling to completion Leila kept us up to date with events, conversing with ours and our buyer solicitors and estate agent. The service continued after the move with a courtesy call a few days after to ask if there was anything further required. We would never hesitate to use anyone else in the future should we ever feel the need to market our house again. Thank you Leila and Hanna.

Updated review June 2024 We sold our family home through Bath Stone during the first lockdown in 2020 - quite an achievement in its own right - we were really well advised and supported throughout the process and completed the sale in line with our timing plan - we wanted to be out of the uk prior to the 31st December Brexit deadline, which we were able to achieve. We bought an investment property through Bath Stone and they have managed this for us for the last three and a half years. Again, they were able to tailor their advice and knowledge of the Bath property market to our particular requirements throughout the purchase, letting and on-going management service. The advice received was clear and proved to be entirely appropriate. We heartily recommend Bath Stone’s professional, personal and experienced services, whether selling, buying or letting.

We rented out our property for 1 year with Bath Stone as our rental property managers. On our return from New Zealand our relatively newly installed carpet ( 12 months } had been damaged by the tenants cats, damage to walls where raw plugs had been installed leaving large holes in places. Damage to flooring in the dining room where circular marks were embedded into the flooring. We expected a bit of wear and tear but this was a lot more. At no point did Bath Stone notify us about this. As soon as we said we would be returning to our residential property and wouldn't be renewing the contract they couldn't be bothered with us. We wanted the tenants to be comfortable and make the place feel like home so we agreed to pets, picture hooks etc. We did state that if there was any damage in allowing this, the tenants would have to put it right. When asked by us to rectify this Bath Stone did nothing and said it would be very difficult to get the tenants to compensate us for this. Due to Bath Stones incompetence we would NOT recommend this Estate Management. As a result of their lazy attitude we have told friends of our experience . Our next door neightbour was advised not to go with them when selling her property and in the future they have lost a future sale. Very shortsighted of them.

If I could give Bath Stone a 10* review I would. They were excellent at marketing and selling our house and their support throughout what was at times a difficult sale was second to none. When we had a last minute issue they had the house back on the market within less than an hour and resold for a good price within 5 days. We were going away and their attitude of 'we will sort it out, leave everything to us' was just what we needed, including arranging for the grass to be cut whilst we were away! As it happened our original sale ended up going through and again they were on hand at all times with advice and guidance. Special mentions to Stuart for his excellent valuation and marketing skills, and offering to cut our grass! Fiona for tracking the process and keeping us informed throughout, and an extra special mention to Sam for supporting us, talking us through the issues, solving every problem and just generally being there with a voice of reason when we needed it. Called to arrange a viewing for a property, was told it was booked in but never received a confirmation message, called up to change the date of the viewing and was advised they'd pass my message on and get the lady I was due to view with to call me back. Never reveived a call back and further call was not answered. Property now listed as sold so I suppose it was just too much bother for them to follow up with me. Possibly a one off bad experience but pretty bizarre customer service.
