Rented a landlord managed property that was advertised by Bath Stone. Unfortunately after moving in we found significant issues with the roof that pre-dated our tenancy and ultimately led to us having to move out. I can't say if Bath Stone were aware of the issues with the roof or hid them from us but they were happy to find new tenants for the property as soon as we moved out and before the issues were fixed. In addition we found them quite disorganized and communication was lacking. We have since found new accommodation and have had better experiences with other Estate Agents in Bath.

We bought our first home through Bath Stone Property. Sam, Fiona, and team walked us through the process and made sure we knew everything we needed to know going into our first purchase. They were very professional throughout and had great communication. This was really important to us as we were at time worried that we were asking 'too many stupid questions' but the team reassured us along the way and very clearly explained all the steps. In the future if we plan to sell we will definitely go to Bath Stone. Thank you!

Really terrible experience unfortunately and would not recommend any students to use this company. Our emails were ignored and when they were replied to the messages were unprofessional and rude. We did not have beds for a few weeks due to the company’s lack of organisation and had an electrician visit who explained we could have died due to leaks onto the electricity board which the company had not addressed. Zero stars would be given if it was an option

My experience as the parent and guarantor of a student who was letting via Bath Stone was deeply unpleasant. They were incredibly unhelpful and rude on every occasion that I had to speak with them. Their attitude toward student tenants is borderline punitive and their unpleasant attitude to parents is completely unnecessary. You will also need to be prepared to be guarantor to all the tenants in the house due to their cynically exploitative tenancy agreements. You can't avoid them because of the limited housing stock in Bath, but brace yourself for a year of unease and heavy handed, rude communications.

Terrible customer service and very poor quality landlord (in our experience). I would never recommend. I've rented in both London and Bath over a 7 year period and this was our worst experience out of all of them. We're pleased to be homeowners and not tied to a contract through this estate agents any longer. We too were excellent tenants (cooperative, left the house in excellent condition, paid rent on time, all of which made no difference). The landlords let themselves in without prior notice on numerous occasions towards the end of the contract, of which the agents were made aware of. Nothing was done. The landlords were also using our gas, electricity and water over a 6 month period free of charge whilst staying in an annex joined onto the house. The agents were made aware of this but did practically nothing to rectify it. Viewings were also chaotic on several occasions and repairs weren't always carried out. Comments below regarding unhelpful staff sound very familiar and I believe some customer service training would be very beneficial. The best thing the agents did was release us from our contract early and even that wasn't done professionally. P.S it was several years ago that we rented, when this company was named ‘Mark Naylor’

Selling my property through Bath Stone was quite an emotional experience for me. It was my late Mum's house and, with an architect, I had designed it to specifically suit the needs of my Mum. I had so much emotional investment in it, plus, it was in a quiet cult de sac directly opposite our own home. So I also wanted someone nice to live in it! Stuart was excellent. He grasped immediately what it meant to me and was very tolerant of my rejecting sales even when they offered the full asking price. He found me the most wonderful couple who absolutely love the house and appreciate all its hidden help (one of them has a disability). I couldn't imagine a better outcome. I wholeheartedly recommend them to you. Personal service where you really matter.
