Overall good experience, highly recommended. I used the Property Explorer Basingstoke to sell my house when I moved to another town. As the first buyer pulled out, they quickly helped to get things moving again and my house was sold to another buyer very quickly. They also helped to communicate with the buyer (almost in the daily basis in the last few weeks before the contract exchange). Everything is online nowadays, I couldn't see the difference comparing to other big national network agents. I am glad I made the right choice of choosing the Property Explorer. Good experience, highly recommended

I thought selling the house would be easy and straightforward, but it wasn't. There were surprises on the road. Luckily I chose the Property Explorer Basingstoke, they did well to get the selling price I wanted, and they have helped to communicate between the parties to keep everyone in the chain up to date. BEST ESTATE AGENTS IN THE WORLD!

Words cannot describe just how amazing Kevin and the whole team at the Property Explorer have been! Our house move has been beset with problem after problem (all of which has been caused by other people in the chain!), has dragged on for over 11 months and has been the single most difficult and emotionally draining experience of my life. BUT throughout the whole thing, Kevin and his team have been nothing short of exceptional. They have worked tirelessly to solve every problem, gone above and beyond every time and put up with our daily phone calls and worries with professionalism and kindness. Importantly, despite so many problems, they got the job done and have helped us make a dream come true. We have just exchanged (even then Kevin had to come to the rescue over an issue at the top of the chain) and for the first time in a year I have been able to relax. Thank you guys, from the bottom of our hearts!

Although I've not rented from this lot I will say something....the type of tenants they allow in their properties arent fit to live in kennels. There's no vetting obviously and when handed a noise complaint their answer is to 'send a letter' I've been kept awake or woken up each and every single night of the week for over a year by my good Explorer tenants next door and nothibg more than a letter. The fact I'm on probation is the only reason I haven't stormed in their and got myself into more trouble. The disrespect shown here is disgusting

If you can avoid them, do. The Property Explorer is always on the side of the landlord even when they clearly shouldn't be. Firstly, we had inspections every 6 months that would constantly blame us for the state of the flat that was entirely the landlords fault. For example they blamed us for poor ventilation in the bathroom, but that was because the extraction fan was broken and the landlord refused to fix it. Secondly, when we moved out the agency made us pay for a professional carpet clean. The carpet wasn't in a great condition when we moved in, I have photos from our move in day of stains. Also the carpet has clearly been there since the 80's so obviously there's going to be some wear and tear that goes beyond us (we'd only been there two years). Then to make things worse when we moved out, the prop. Explorer tried to claim that we hadn't had the carpets cleaned so would need to take that out of our deposit. They said the carpets were 'disgusting' (maybe something to do with the fact the landlord refuses to get new ones?). Luckily we had proof that the carpet cleaner had been so they eventually dropped that argument. We ended up only getting back around 25% of our deposit because of all the ridiculous things they and the landlord charged us for. The woman I dealt with on the phone (don't remember their name) was incredibly rude despite being friendly whilst we were tenants. Overall, as a professional and respectful couple we just decided to move on with our lives and let them keep the deposit. So just a warning that if you are renting with this agency they will not be on your side, and if you have a difficult landlord they will blame you for things that are not your responsibility and maybe even charge you for them.

Really helpful advice and guidance to a first timer...

Property Explorer were the agents for the house we wanted to buy. I have never been through the buying and selling process, having been in my first home for 33 years so I really appreciated the honest and helpful advice and support from Danny in the initial stages, especially when we were offering on our dream home. Once our offer had been accepted Kevin took over as Progression Manager and he continued to give really helpful advice and guidance on the process and continually kept in touch on progress, applying polite pressure as and when needed. Both myself and my husband were really impressed with the service provided which included the offer for the whole family to wait in their offices in their warm and comfortable lounge, with access to hot drinks, for the 3 hours that it took between us moving out and getting the keys to our new home. We would definitely recommend using Property Explorer to others.

We have just used the services of property explorer to sell our house, and I couldn’t recommend them highly enough.From the first moment that we met Oliver, to all of the hard work that both himself and Kevin put into selling our house and ensuring that the chain went as smoothly as possible, the service we have received from Oliver, Kevin and the team has been exceptional. This is our second time using The Property Explorer in Basingstoke to buy a house, our first for selling a property, and the experience was a breeze from start to finish.Danny visited the property and valued it in line with our expectations and his negotiator ensured that we got the best final offer that we accepted. Viewed the property, made an offer, the offer was accepted. Did a Homebuyers Report and found out serious problem with electrical installation, asbestos and bricks falling of the rear wall, and few other issues, tried to negotiate the price with Kevin Cheeseman from property Explorer, he was an absolute time waster didn't want to negotiate any reduction even though there were serious issues with the property. Spent most of the time telling how many years he had been doing the job and how great he was. Absolute time waster. I pulled out and managed to buy a bigger and better property for a good price. Lost my solicitor fees and fees I paid for Homebuyers Report. I would have managed to work something out if it was not for egotistic Kevin Cheeseman from property Explorer.
