Outstanding! Would Highly Recommend

My experience with The Property Explorer has been absolutely first rate!! The service I have received from the team, particularly Kevin Cheeseman has been Outstanding! Nothing was too much trouble. I was kept informed at all times of any developments and any correspondence was responded to politely and efficiently. Always going the extra mile and keeping me updated. I cannot fault the team and Iwould highly recommend them to sell your property. It has been an absolute pleasure working with them. I cannot find a single thing negative thing to say about the entire process of them selling my home.

Well, what can I say! Absolutely fantastic and treated me like a family member. Danny went as far as helping me re-house my cats.. honestly, what other estate agent would do that? Oliver came to see me after a terrible experience with another agent; reassured me he would look after me, told me that we would sell the house, and that is exactly what happened... and super quick when the other agent had no offers in a month.. really can't recommend them enough. The ladies in the office were delightful. My whole experience so far has been super! Thank you very much, Jacks :)

Supportive and always on hand to help

I rented a house with Property Explorer for 2 years. During that time Wendy and the team were always on hand to help - even when we got locked out at 6pm on a Friday! I remember from the check-in of the property the team were very thorough providing all meter reading and recording anything slight damaged or not 100%. They ensured all document and certificate we up to date inline with the regulation.

Very disappointing experience

Very disappointing experience. I agreed a sale over three months ago, yet there’s been no meaningful update from the estate agent about the buyer’s mortgage progress. I’ve just learned from my solicitor that the buyer hasn’t even submitted a mortgage offer to their lawyer, a completely unacceptable delay. What makes this worse is that the buyer is using the agency’s own in-house mortgage advisor. Despite that, they’ve failed to provide any clear timeline or update. I raised my concerns formally and sent a written notice outlining next steps, yet the estate agent didn’t even acknowledge receipt or follow up. The dismissive attitude, lack of transparency, and complete failure to communicate have put my own purchase at serious risk. I expected a much higher standard of professionalism.

Simin Pearson is a man with a big heart -director.of The property Explorer Basingstoke.... A few years ago,wife and I decided to leave the UK .We decided to sell property. The situation was difficult because the our solicitor were not involved enough to complete the transaction as soon as possible. The wife was pregnant and if not for Simon's help we would not have been able to return by plane whole family together. He approaches everyone very professionally, empathizing with the needs.. Whoever had contact with him knows that this man will do anything to satisfy his client, whom he treats as a friend. We have used The Property Explorer 3 times in the last 10 years, the reason being we had a great experience with them the first time and would be very hesitant to move if the Estate Agent wasn’t right to work with. There’s no ‘typical estate agent’ working here, no sales patter, from enquiry to completion the team are approachable, family friendly, calm and communicative and ensure you are fully involved and understand at all stages of the process from enquiry to completion. Oliver and Kevin have been involved in all 3 of our moves and on this occasion Danny too. All were fantastic yet again, and whilst we really won’t be moving again, I can’t recommend this team highly enough!

This is my end of tenancy review for The Property Explorer (TPE). I rented through TPE for 2 years. Every time I had to call them, they were always very helpful, prompt and genuine. They made moving in and moving out easy. As many others have said avoid this company at all costs. Wish we’d done a quick bit of research first on Property Explorers as we could have seen the kind of people we were going to be dealing with. When others have been physically assaulted and physically threatened by the owner it’s a pretty big red flag! Whilst we haven’t been physically assaulted or physically threatened (yet) our experience wasn’t much better. We hired them to “manage” our rental properties. I use the word manage very loosely as would be lucky to get a response, forget about getting any assistance. When we decided we’d had enough of their “services” we were initially met with threats if we left. When this didn’t work we were then offered discounts before more threats started. Trying to speak with anyone at the company with any authority is near impossible. They simply brush you off to their secretary that will simply fob you off with lies and nonsense. I’m sure they’ll defensively respond to this review with similar nonsense and lies. Tenant's were also relieved to see the back of them as had experienced similar frustrations. Majorly regret not getting rid of these guys sooner. There are many better and cost effective management company’s around and we were quickly able to find a much better solution with a little online research. Do yourself a favour and save yourself a lot of time, money and headaches and look elsewhere. Struggling to find anything positive at all about our experience with them.

Fantastic from start to finish! Bought, sold and secured my re-mortgage with the teams help and it was a first class experience at all times. Gen and Oliver were instrumental in helping me secure an above asking price buyer for my house, as well as sealing a deal on my new property which I love!
