There were several instances where I had to follow up multiple times to get a response, and the agent seemed to lack knowledge about the properties they were showing. In addition, there were several mistakes in the paperwork that caused delays in the process. I would suggest that improve communication and attention to detail to provide a better experience for your clients."

Go elsewhere. Greg the manager lied to us from day 1. Pressured us in to selling to someone who didn't have the funds and took our house off the market when we clearly stated we wanted it to remain on the market. Waiting weeks for call back and saying Greg wasn't in the office when I was outside the store and saw him. I wouldn't sell through douglas Allan even if it was free. Please stay away, these are the kinda people that give estate agents a bad name. I requested all calls which was agreed then just ignored. GO TO ANY OTHER ESTATE AGENTS

Excellent service in difficult circumstances

I've been really impressed with the service I've received from Douglas Allen in Walthamstow over the last few weeks: sales manager Ammer Haroon was very proactive in getting the ball rolling when I found a property I was interested in, and branch manager Maria Ticehurst has been working really hard to iron out any issues with the vendor's solicitor, despite the COVID-19 lockdown. I'm in good hands there!

The team at Douglas Allen Chingford have always been very friendly and helpful in selling my house. However Natasha was particularly helpful in following up calls to solicitors and buyer to make sure the transaction eventually went through to exchange. Although the sale took longer than expected, I am happy with the outcome.
