Total failure. Rude and unprofessional staff. Very few viewing of the house. Promised communication failed to happen as the norm. Poor quality photographs of house and near illiterate description of house and garden. Agents appear to be in league with the one buyer to get a cut down price so the house could be rented out by them. If you want to sell a home in Hucknall try another agent.

I have a buy to let property in Barking bought from and managed by the local Bairstow Eves office. I'm VERY unhappy with the service I receive from them. I pay a monthly service charge and yet get no service.Every month, the rent paid to Countrywide by Housing Benefit on my tenant's behalf goes astray. Every month it takes weeks of emails to trace the money despite my tenant sending a reference number. Housing Benefit have invited Countrwide to sign up to the landlord's portal so they know exactly when the rent is being paid. I have no idea whether Countrywide have signed up because neither they nor the Barking office respond to my emails. The January rent has not yet been paid to me. This is causing problems with mortgage payments, service charges etc. I'm certain my tenant is not the only person in receipt of Housing Benefit that Countrywide deal with and yet they seem to have no system for dealing with what is after all public money.When I tried to submit this on your feedback form, this is what I gotWe're sorry, but something went wrong.If you are the application owner check the logs for more information.

This is the worst agent, avoid them at all costs. They are a complete shambles, they charge through the nose, and really haven't got a clue.

GoogleI would give 0 stars if I could. I have been absolutely appalled with the professionalism shown at this branch. They evidently pick and choose who they wish to like and treat nicely however, I was ready to move in ASAP and happy to put in an offer and Louise couldn't wait to get me off the phone. I cannot see why as me and my husband both earn more than 30X the monthly rent and we are ready to move in-all I did was have a couple of questions. Louise managed to put me and my husband off the property completely simply by her astonishing attitude. Brilliant ambassador for Bairstow Eves.

GoogleAbsolutely bloody brilliant! We had seen a few other houses before the one with Bairstow eves, my credit rating isn't perfect so after being turned down with others I had given up hope. Then we met Lauren and Louise, who were amazing, they did everything they could to help us out. We moved in 3 weeks before Christmas and have loved every minute in our new house. If we ever need to move I'll definitely stay with these guys. I'd recommend them to anyone!xx

Absolute worst estate agents! Took our 6 months rent upfront told us we could move into the property only to be told 5 hours after we were due to get the keys that we weren’t allowed to have the property after all! We had paid for removals and were literally sitting outside the house only to be mucked about for the entire day. Very disappointing and if we could give them zero stars we would!

Dishonest, incompetent, the last 18 months have been infuriating stressful and costly, systemic failures in their property management team, did not manage the property licensing process, Help2 Rent tenant, let the H2R rent guarantee expire, so no rent cover and tenant in significant arrears, a personal data breach, lost keys, among a litany of failures. Avoid this company at all costs look around do t be fooled by the size of this company, it’s size dwarfs its ability to manage a single property with competence or integrity.

GoogleI have worked with Bairstow Eves for many years both as a private landlord and as a tenant, and I cannot speak highly enough about the service I received from both Emily and Lauren at the Billericay office - they are always so helpful, and they adopt a very professional and friendly approach - which is so important when dealing with someone's home. GoogleBairstow Eves in Billericay have been managing a buy-to-let property for me for just over 1 year now. I have been extremely impressed with the service provided by my agent. She has been proactive in dealing with any issues arising with the tenant and property and, also very quick to respond and advise me regarding any questions I have. I am not particularly experienced with dealing with other agents but, talking to people who are, I think I did well to pick a good one. Very happy.

GoogleI have recently been dealing with Lauren and Emily who have helped me and my partner get in to a new rented home of our own. They took us through every step in as much detail as possible (we are newbies to the rented market) and no question was too much. They have always been incredibly helpful, whether its an answer to a question or assistance in any issues which are experienced. They are fantastic to deal with and I would highly recommend Bairstow Eves to anyone looking to rent or buy a home.

While in the process of purchasing a property i had my mortgage adviser and solicitor, but the agent pressured me into using their services by stating multiple times on the phone the seller would rather the buyer use their services. After the third time i was pressured into saying yes because in all the telephone conversations i was not getting anywhere until I said yes.The mistake I made was having all this conversation in a telephone conversation instead of emails. Their complaint department just threw the case under the bus because I had no evidence and their telephone conversations were not recorded.I avoid this company and their services.
