I found a property on zoopla so I contacted them thrue app but no one answer. Maybe I was in to much hurry (there is 24h dead line for respond on zoopla app and I had send the request at evening time) I wanted to be sure so I contacted the office. I need to call 8 times - automatic answering machines are not my favorite ones. When I got throught the phone calls were twice disconected (maybe bad conection) but in the end they took all information they needed and promise they will contact owner. *to be continued*

Brilliant communication

Brilliant communication! Throughout our entire sale, they have been fantastic. We have sold our property though Hilton’s and at the same time purchased a property through Hilton’s and I have to say they have been quick to respond to any queries we have had. We had buyers drop out of a sale and within a couple of days the property was under offer again, During the lockdown that began in March they quickly adapted to the changes they had to make and continued with the great service.

We will not be buying a house through this estate agency! they never return phone calls, I was willing to make a good offer on a property, I was then told that I am not in a suitable position to make an offer! Surely the vendor should make the decision on all offers and negotiations? the agency is just the middle man, it is also worth noting that they overprice properties, Im so glad we didn’t choose them to sell our house, we certainly will not be looking at anymore properties with them! When we where trying to decide which estate agent to choose, I looked at presentation of properties for sale on the internet , in my opinion people who are searching for their next or first dream home need to be wowed via photographs in which they can imagine them selves living within.Hilton &Horsfall show cased all their properties regardless of the price of property The decision was made to choose Hilton & Horsfall and we where extremely impressed from start to finishSo much time and attention to detail was taken when taking the photographs wow!Nothing is to much trouble, emails and response were extremely quick, the girls in the office are very prompt and professional yet very very approachable Did I mention that our house went on the internet late Friday afternoon and sold Tuesday morning !!Thank you so much for all your support and guidance through out the journey of selling our house

It would be extremely courteous and a sign of good customer service if Gavin Hilton could actually reply to calls. Katie did her best to assist but is unfortunately mentored by someone who is more than happy to sit back and do very little and not take ownership. Gavin took 48 hours to respond to one call, refused to take a call even though he was in the office. In my instance of my recent purchase he didn't take ownership and despite me being assured that I wasn't in a chain, I ended up in a chain of 4 and he left it to other people to liaise with the solicitors. What should have been a straight forward purchase (as initially advised by Hilton & Horsfall) resulted in me having to live in temporary holiday accommodation, at great expense, due to the misinformation that was supplied by Hilton & Horsfall and Gavin did not accept that he was in the wrong what so ever. The 2 stars provided is purely for Katie in her efforts to support.
