FacebookVery poor communication from several agents. Call control techniques very poor. I found it extremely difficult to converse with this agent due to continually been spoken over. I had to shout her down before she put the phone down!!!! Some people just never seem to come up for air. Unfortunate for the vendors as they lost out on additional income. Very poor form Lancasters

FacebookA really positive experience and took the stress out of moving. Adam our valuer, was lovely, reassuring and so helpful. Nothing was too much trouble. Julie in the office was polite and dealt with any questions efficiently always getting back to us quickly. A really lovely estate agents that I’d recommend to anyone. Sold our house within 2 days of marketing and we completed in under 3 months.

GoogleWe recently sold our house with Lancasters and the service from start to finish could not have been better. We dealt with numerous members of staff, all of which were extremely professional, friendly and knowledgeable. We would like to extend an extra Thankyou to Alex who went above and beyond to ensure our sale and move went smoothly. We wouldn’t hesitate to highly recommend to anyone looking to buy or sell that they contact Lancasters!

GoogleAdvertised several properties as dss considered but upon speaking to receptionist was spoken down to and patronised several times on different occasions, feel like her entire telephone manner could have been improved on and after providing her with the information that was given on the adverts was told she didnt know where they were getting their information from bit surely it would have been 1 of their agents who put the information forward to be advertised, just a terrible experience overall glad I chose a different lettings agent to go with.

FacebookSince 2009 i have had two dealings with this agent. The first was for renting which was perfectly fine it was just unfortunate that the landlord they were representing was inexperienced and the old woman who lived next door was a nosey old hag. However, never had any issues with them. In 2018 i contacted them to sell my apartment. Whilst the apartment was outside of their normal area they worked extremely hard to get the sale done. The solicitor they recommended (Brearleys in Leeds) have been excellent. Particular mention to Pat and Ben who worked together to get the sale done. I would happily use them again if i lived in the UK still. 5/5 stars.

GoogleMy review is in response to bellow review by Fran Hankins whom seems to be a compulsive liar , I own the property and there was no carpet as last tennant removed it , I was asked to supply a Carpet on Friday and rang her within five mins to arrange a measure up on the Tuesday she refused and demanded a carpet next day , but unfortunately the fitters was booked , so she invented the bellow feedback out of spite What a bitter twisted woman You should be ashamed of yourself !! Lancasters are brilliant at there job and they rent many properties for me with no problems at all , Nigel Kaye

GoogleI would have no hesitation in recommending Lancasters to anyone. Helpful, friendly and professional they kept us informed every step of the way and nothing was too much trouble. We had a particularly complex house purchase and sale and Lancasters were great in finding out from both sellers, buyers and solicitors what was happening and putting pressure on the parties to get it sorted. They must have made hundreds of calls on our behalf. Yes we paid more than the online agents charge but we wouldn't have got the same service and I'm sure we wouldn't now be living in our dream home without Lancasters help. Thank you.

GoogleRepeatedly fobbed off and then accused tenant of being a liar. Took weeks and weeks to sort out the simplest of things for tenant to move in even though tenant specifically advised she needed to move ASAP. Took bedroom carpet out and then told tenant she must have imagined it was there when she viewed the property. Repeatedly upset tenant and made absolutely no effort to deal with their own mistakes so that she could move in. Tenant had to beg for a receipt after paying over £1100 IN CASH. In the end they gave her a tiny bit of hand written paper as a 'receipt'. Misadvertised that property was available immediately even though tenant was desperate to move.

GoogleThe service, if you could call it that, was particularly poor, not only did they let me know the agent turn up nearly half an hour later, there was a viewing arranged for two parties at the same time (as if to pressure to apply and pay up?) but also the agent had virtually no knowledge on the property. In addition when I've went to the office to try and ask about other properties I've got treated nearly like a criminal just because I've stated my dissatisfaction with the service provided so far. Definitely do not recommend. I find it entirely unacceptable to have no manners at all when dealing with customers and no way of dealing with a customer complaint other than telling them to leave the office.

FacebookI find the customer service with Lancaster’s very poor and at best very rude Recently had a booking to view a property turned up at booked time just to be told that the landlord 1/2 an hour after the booked time. I phoned the office and they said that it was booked for 11.30 not 11 and was very rude about it After past experiences of letting through them I wouldn’t touch touch them. Seam to forget that we are the customer

FacebookWe have just moved back to this area and are new to Lancasters. All 3 of the ladies we have dealt with (Alex, Lesley and Alyson) have been lovey, very professional and helpful! We have had no problems and all the initial process was straight forward. We was kept updated throughout all of the checks via telephone and email. We have now been in our property for a month and feel we have 100% made the right decision choosing Lancasters Propery Services! Thanks ladies, Jess, Darren and baby Ernie!

FacebookContacted twice by web page link and received a phone call from them 5 days later (Wednesday)but he refused me a viewing for a property as we had not sold ours. Had an offer on ours (Saturday) contacted them again to view the same property and arranged to meet them on the Saturday 10am but sure enough still sat there at 10.30 no one turned up so of home we went. Do you really want to sell these houses or is it to much trouble for you.

GoogleLIARS! Was told Property had received an application ,so was no longer available. 4 weeks later we noticed still advertised !? So then rang up and was told no applications have been taken!! Made an appointment to view the house and were still waiting outside after 20 minutes, so we left! My guess is they are taking applications for properties and pocketing the Money!! This company should be investigated and fined for DISHONEST Practices ...AVOID

You have both made a very stressful few months just disappear into nothing by giving us keys to our wonderful new home, and making it as pleasant and easy as possible. GoogleTold me the absolute earliest ANYONE could view a property was 12th of December. I phone up to confirm my appointment to view on the 12th to be told someone else had viewed it days earlier and put in an application. They had no intention of letting me know this by the looks of things and went against their own 'rules' about when people could view.

Sue helped out some much with our mortgage, every bit of paperwork, every meltdown (on our part) absolutely blown away with the service we received. Thankyou again everyone!
