We have just put our house up for sale using haybrook in Barnsley after lots had recommended them and so far our experience has been nothing but positive. Liam came out to value our house and he was brilliant! He explained the whole process and reassured me that we was in safe hands. He was so helpful and definitely put my mind at ease. Chris then came out to take photos and measure up and he was also brilliant! He was super friendly and he made sure I was happy with every photo he took. He was very patient with me throughout. He was professional, whilst still having a good laugh. Everyone has been great so far and I can’t recommend them enough.

As a seller, communications with the Haybrooks team have been excellent throughout, with prompt feedback following viewings, and viewings being offered at times to suit prospective buyers, rather than estate agents. I think the star player of the Haybrook team, who makes them worth their higher fee, is Hannah Baldwin, Move Manager. As a seller, Hannah has worked hard to bridge gaps, move things along with and between solicitors, and kept communication open with the buyers, so I never felt fearful of the sale falling through.

Chris Hancock met to value my Aunts house. He contacted me beforehand to answer any questions I had and confirmed the meeting by text and phone. He was punctual, knowledgeable and very easy to talk to. He explained fully about what Haybrook could offer as an Estate Agent but wasn't pushy in anyway. I would give Chris 5 stars but I have reduced it to 4 for the company as the call handler who took my initial phone call was quite the opposite and nearly put me off proceeding with the valuation, Chris saved the day.

Estate agents often get a raw deal from armchair critics, but our experience of this agency & Laura Maccio in particular has been nothing but very positive. They grafted to try and get us a sale in a particular time frame, but it just wasn't to be. Some people that viewed our property just couldn't be bothered to send them any sort of feedback despite their best efforts to re-contact them and it is these sort of prospective purchasers who are nothing but a complete waste of time to all concerned. Selling a property at our purchase price point is very difficult, with a limited market for our area, but Laura Maccio, a very seasoned negotiator, worked in our best interests at all times and she is to be applauded for showing loyalty to us and understanding the real difficulties that surrounds the way that properties are sold in the English property market.
