We had a great experience with Jack from Haybrooks in Barnsley. He showed us around two different properties and was professional, friendly, and very knowledgeable throughout the viewings. Jack took the time to answer all of our questions and made us feel comfortable without any pressure. His approach was really helpful and made the whole experience enjoyable. Our experience of Haybrook in Barnsley was great, Corrine Patterson in particular was patient, attentive and did exactly what we asked her to - whether that was asking the vendor some extra questions or progress chasing the sale through the conveyancing process. We visited the property several times to take measurements, although Corrine was busy she always found time to help us. Corrine is friendly and professional and nothing was too much trouble.

Had a valuation by Chris today. Firstly, Chris was warm and friendly. He was happy to chat through things and made us feel at ease straight away. Chris is clearly well experienced and knows his craft. He was able to explain the highlights of our home, selling points and how this fares across the current market. He had clearly researched the area of our home and as such was able to share with us in detail how he reached the valuation price. Chris was fair and honest and provided us with a written valuation that same day. Can't find any negative points or things where Chris could improve on and as such throughly deserves the 5 🌟 review. Will definitely use Chris and Haybrook for our house sales/rents again in the future.

Steve came to value the property for Probate after mum's death. He was made aware that dad would be staying in the house for as long as was needed. He was a lovely guy, very knowledgeable about the area and helpful. I said I'd be in touch at the point a sale needed to be made. Things fell apart when he called up after a couple of weeks to see if I'd made a decision. About what?? I'd explained the situation and why there could be no progress yet. It made my mind up not to use the company for the sale. I found it totally insensitive and said I did not appreciate the call. Steve said he was just doing his job. I blame the policies and procedures of the company for the call. ***Also when you've gone with another agent after telling them they won't be considered they call you up asking how the sales going. Absolute vultures imo.

I met Steve yesterday to value my property with a possible view to sell. He could not have been more professional, guiding me confidently through the process and clearly explaining how he arrived at his valuation. Steve is clearly a very experienced agent but not a typical 'hard sell'.
