Martyn Gerrards estate agents worked really well, with us and for us, resulting in a relatively swift purchase of our house at a price we were happy with. Martyn Gerrard Block Management managed Major Works of external decoration and roof repairs for our property comprising of three flats. This included lengthy communications with the leaseholders over 12months and the appointment of contractors. The result was a superb job on completion within the forecast timescales. As Freeholders we were completely satisfied by Consultancy and Management of the project by Block Management's professional staff.

Friendly getting you in, hell when you move out! We had a great experience moving in with Martyn Gerrard - they were fast, friendly and when the landlord was delayed signing the contract they were very accommodating and let us store our belongings in their basement. The problem came with moving out. Their standard contract doesn't contain any Exit Clause, so if you try and leave early for any reason you WILL be charged. They also include a 'check-out fee', where they essentially keep your deposit hostage until you fork out. Even after all of that, it took over 3 months to get our deposit back, chasing them the whole time. A nightmare! If you're going to be renting the place for more than a year they might be worth the fuss?tl;dr: nice getting you in, charge you to leave and taken an age to give you back your deposit.

GoogleBEWARE! The worst agent i have ever dealt with. They stick in a sneaky clause if tenants action a mutual 6 month break clause in view of penalising the tenant! This was advised to us on the 11th hour which left us no room to object. Had to deal with the director to resolve this in the end which took a few days to even get a response/call. The agent also breached smoke alarm legislations and left there landlord exposed to fines and potential imprisonment. we are now struggling to even confirm our vacation date and have been waiting a week for a confirmed time! Absolutely usless! The landlord is also now dis instructing them.

GoogleAs a first time buyer, my offer just got accepted and I am going through the purchase procedure with one of the most active estate agent AMAR MALIK in MG. He keeps updating me over the process as well as advising me in advance so I have time to get prepared with the next step. I feel I’m in good hands and looking forward to getting the key in couple of months. I do recommend this estate agency and Malik Amar.

GoogleRecently put family property up for sale with the help from Kastro in N12 branch. Highly understanding of personal circumstances and managed our needs perfectly, taking alot of stress away from us including all the photo management, advertisements and viewings without us having to get involved much at all which helped loads. I have been in the property during some of the viewings which have taken place and the professionalism and respect for the property has been second the none. GoogleI purchased a house marketed by Martyn Gerrard's North Finchley branch and although I was not their client I have to say I was impressed by their professionalism and endeavour to conclude the transaction positively for all parties concerned. This on fact was the second home I had purchased from them and like anyone who has been through the process knows,it never runs I as smoothly as you would like. The first purchase there were issue with building regulations compliance and without their assistance in resolving these matters I don't think we would have completed the transaction. The second, involved obtaining outline planning permission and MG were great in managing the buyers and sellers expectations. A house purchase is possibly the most stressful transaction anyone will undertake in their lives and having a knowledgeable devoted and assertive agent mediating makes life so much easer for everyone. Ask for Craig Thompkins. He will be our first port of call when we decide to sell.

GoogleMy elderly parents sold their home of over 40 years recently through the Martyn Gerrard office in North Finchley. Craig, the manager's, experience really told and he guided them through the whole process, holding their hands at every turn. The process was very sensitive for my folks as they had not bought or sold for so long and had brought up the family in this house. He even dealt with the agent in Brighton, where they moved to! Craig's team were fantastic and used kid gloves with my parents and I would happily recommend them to anyone looking to buy or sell in the area. GoogleHaving experienced MG service previously I had no hesitation in asking the lettings team of Andrew and Karine at the North Finchley office to find us quality recommended tenants for our two newly build flats at Totteridge Place. They both communicated well with us and kept us in the loop. One Year on they have handled the change of tenancy at one of our flats very smoothly and efficiently. I would have no hesitation in letting Andrew and Karine handle all our lettings in the future and ask others to give them a try. You will not be disappointed.
