TrustpilotExtremely poor experience with Foxtons
Extremely poor experience with Foxtons. We were left without proper cooking facilities for 25 days, which had a major impact on our daily life and forced us to spend extra money on food. A functioning cooker is a basic part of any home, yet this was not handled with the urgency it deserved.

GoogleA wonderful experience with the whole Foxton’s team! A special shout out to Lubna who has been very persistent and diligent in chasing and following up with landlords and offers and was very proactive in all of the searches. Was really taken care off! Had it not been for a better offer (and nearby to where I currently work too) I carried on with my Foxton’s offer. No other words but all praises to the team.

GoogleWhen I was looking for a house to rent I met Lubna. She was friendly, confident, thoughtful and made a huge effort to find what I was looking for. Lubna worked long hours and never gave up trying to find the right house for me. I appreciated her honesty and her straightforward way of approaching things. Lubna has her eye on the ball and is always a step or two ahead of her colleagues. I can say nothing other than complimentary things about her.

GoogleFoxtons has been by far the best agency I have used since moving to the UK. I feel lucky to have met Lubna who personally handled everything required in finding a flat to lease. Not only did she find me an amazing flat, she was communicative, passionate, and lovely all around!! My main concern was passing reference checks as an international student and she made me feel at ease the entire time. I couldn't recommend her more!! Truly a treat to have worked with Foxtons and have them as my letting agency. They have been very professional and kind to me!

GoogleI had a very disappointing experience with this agency. A few days ago, I contacted them via email to arrange a viewing for a rental property. An agent named Jordan Boateng subsequently called me and asked a series of questions, including some personal details, and assured me that he would follow up. Unfortunately, I never received any further communication. I also sent a follow-up email, but did not receive a response.

I've recently started renting from Foxtons. They are both the letting agent and the managing agent. I have never paid so much for such a bad service. None of the extractor fans work, my heating doesnt work, the curtain rods are bent and now one has fallen off & luckily no one got hurt because they have taken so long to resolve the issues. I'm wondering is this even legal?

I contacted ONE agent for a specific property viewing, and it has turned into a total nightmare. I am being hounded by at least FOUR different colleagues from this branch. The frequency is beyond unprofessional, I just received 2 calls in the span of 5 minutes.

As a landlord (don't hate me!) paying for a managed service, they tried to charge me £90 + vat to fix a meter door with two cable ties. This is typical, and I have to chase them repeatedly for everything. My tenants and I deserve better.

GoogleWhen we bought our house (over 5 years ago), Foxtons were the vendor's agents and we were impressed that they were the ones on top of things and making sure everything kept moving. We started looking in to selling, so I got in touch with them again and we had the same super professional experience. Ivan spent a solid few hours with us at the valuation meeting and really explained his process which was super helpful. Communication from the whole team is just excellent. They follow up when they say they will and not a moment sooner so you don't feel harangued.

GoogleI have dealt with Foxtons, and especially with Ivan (Ninkovic) for several years; almost 2.5 years. And in the last 6 to 9 months with Dean. I put my flat sale twice with them; first time it didn't sell, so I removed it from them, tried elsewhere and then went back to them. Ivan is really a straightforward guy. He will tell you good news as well as what you may not like to hear (about your property); I don't mind that. From personal point of view both guys are very pleasant to deal with. In fact all staff at North Finchley are well trained, polite and helpful; so I guess it's down to the manager and the training they are provided. Anyway, I would have given then 4.5 *s but you can only give 4 or 5, so I give 4. That is because their fees for sale are relatively higher than other estate agents, but then again at least in my case they achieved the result - that is they sold the flat at price I was prepared to accept. So I am content with Ivan, Dean and their services.

Each member of Foxtons team I communicated with was very friendly and responsive. Personal thanks to Lubna who walked me though the whole process in the shortest period of time from the initial viewing to the contract. Thanks to Shaun for his advice and negotiations with the landlords.

I had an incredibly unfair and unprofessional experience with the Foxtons Deposits Team. We moved out in October 2025, yet it took five months for any clarity regarding our deposit, a delay that felt like a tactical move to strip us of our right to provide counter-evidence.

GoogleWe just sold our house for a record price on our street, so very happy with that. Most importantly, we felt totally supported throughout the entire process by Ivan, manager of the North Finchley office. We weren't entirely sure which agent to go with as we thought it almost doesn't matter when they 'just put it on Rightmove' - how wrong we were! Aside from getting the pricing just right; putting enough but not too much info on the online listing as well as the timing of putting our house on the market - Ivan leveraged all of his local offices to get many, many viewings over a short period. The result was multiple offers and a very motivated buyer. Ivan and his team managed every step of the process and helped with finding a really good conveyancing solicitor. Shame we don't have another house for him to sell!

Google“Professional, engaging, attentive and very informative” was our first impression of Mercedes when she came to visit our property for the purpose of a initial chat and a subsequent evaluation. The evaluation proved to be spot on and our experience of the viewings was pleasant. We felt that our circumstances and wishes where taken into consideration and respected by the agents that arranged them. Mercedes is very friendly and approachable making communication easy. We happily recommend her, Dean and Rory to take care of business.
