GoogleSean has helped me let my property twice in the last 18 months. He is helpful, responsive and goes above and beyond - even working to help me on his days off and I really appreciate his support with some particularly challenging situations. Thanks Sean! Unfortunately the property management experience leaves a fair bit to be desired (not Sean's remit or responsibility), but the letting process experience has been largely very good.

I trusted Foxtons to manage my property professionally. They found the tenants, collected commission (2 months rent per year) and management fees, and were contractually obligated to inspect and monitor my home. They failed on every count.

I am a landlord and have received very poor service from Foxtons. No communication. Have to follow up emails several times. Frequent change of staff. High fees and provides no service at all. Regret changing over to foxtons to manage property. Stay away!

GoogleJust moved over to these guys and I have had the most stressful two months of my life already. No value for money in my opinion and if I don’t hear back by this week about our refunds, I will be chasing this up legally. I feel like they are all about the money and not supporting their clients.

Special thank you to Sean Scannell, branch manager who really delivered in record speed and managed to secure me £500 more than the other agent, I really cannot argue with there fees, as I said above they really do deliver! I rented a property managed by Foxtons for five years and one month. We paid rent on time every month and never had a complaint raised against us. Then we tried to leave.

GoogleIt's hard to believe that this fraudulent estate agants can do business and rob people in brod day light! I'm a tenant for 12 years and they've been the worst people i ever dealt with by huge distance! Before they make you sign the contract they're really nice and polite! They showed us a property and because of area we took it! There were some issues they said it's gonna be solved before we move in but they haven't fixed them and when we raised the issue they said we told you that verbally and we have no obligation to fix them! Some stauff were very serious like broken glass wardrobe door and oven wasn't working that we have to fight for month to get landlord to fix it! Foxton rule is weare getting paid by landlord so we are always on landlord side! All they staff are extremely rude and unprofessional i had to make complain few times to authorities because of their code of conduct which is none exist in Foxtons! At the end of our tenancy we asked them to extend our contract for a few month as we have bought our own place and we needed just a month or two and even told them they can give us a month notice if they found a new tenant foxtons said they'll let landlady knows and surprisingly with 13days left to end of contract they said landlord hasn't accepted that and she wants another year of contract and if you don't want that you have to move out in 12 days! We found a temporary accommodation and moved out and for getting our deposit after 3 weeks they got back to us with some pre existing damages and building problem and wanted to deduct half of our deposit and we had to raise it with DPS to get our money back! AVOID THIS FRAUDS AT ANY COST

Foxtons’s account’s department have bad ethical practices.The charged me as a landlord 3 years commission & after six months again charged me 2 years commission for the same property.when I complained they credited part of the commission but after a week they recharged me some more commission.As the tenant rent is deposited directly into Foxtons’s account I cannot do much about it and am finally taking them to court for fraudulent activity.

GoogleStay far away from Foxtons and do not believe a word they tell you. After one year on a fixed term, Foxtons emailed me about renewing my tenancy and increasing my rent. I said I wanted to stay. I didn't hear anything back until about two months later they started phoning me and wanting to bring people around to view my flat. This is a very good way to stress out a tenant and create a very bad relationship with them. I said I was not moving out. They said it was the end of the tenancy. I said it is not the end of the tenancy until I say I'm moving out or until you issue me with an eviction notice. They insisted, however, that it was the end of the tenancy and it was in my contract to accept viewings. Do not believe them if they tell you this. Next, they insisted I sign a fixed-term tenancy. Don't believe them when they tell you you have to sign one - you don't. You do not have to renew the agreement or accept any fixed term. The tenancy automatically continues on a rolling basis with an AST. They wanted to increase my rent by 21% and tried to scare me by telling me the market rent was 28% more than what I was paying - a hefty £450pcm more. Then when I moved out they advertised it for only £50 more per month! Overall, the staff at Foxtons are incompetent and they are liars. Stay far away.

GoogleI would like to pass on my thanks to Sofia at your North Finchley office. She demonstrated excellent knowledge of the area and the properties she showed me. Nothing seemed too much trouble even when I had to cancel My viewing at short notice and turned up late. I will definitely recommend her and Foxtons to my friends due to her positive and friendly attitude. One thing I didn’t like about my experience was when her colleague started contacting me few hours before my scheduled viewing with Sofia which seemed very unprofessional.
