GoogleJust awful . Works with landlords who only care about profit and have little regard for neighbours and the wider community. Since we bought our flat from Foxtons 3 years ago, we have had nothing but problems from tenants who live in the flat below us. If it isn’t a tenant throwing parties and smoking drugs until the early hours (during the week) then it’s tenants with an aggressive dog which constantly barks at us . When we complain, nothing is done . Foxtons are just clearly in it for themselves and making money. Will avoid at all costs in the future and will be telling our friends and family.

GoogleFoxtons North Finchley would make my recommended list of estate agents. They operate as a group and are highly professional. The team offered good advice when required and were patient when it was clear it would take more time than anticipated to get the desired result. One individual in particular stood out, Dean Ramey. He is on the sales side of the business and once it was made clear this sale would take more concerted efforts, he leant in and accelerated the viewings to drive an outcome for the sale and we are very grateful for his perseverance and determination. In many ways he went above and beyond what was expected and overall we feel Foxtons has performed for us. We would recommend them as a sales agent and at the least would encourage any property seller to engage with them for a conversation.

TrustpilotExtremely poor handling of deposit refund, lack of accountability and communication.
I moved out of my flat on 25 September 2025, and my landlord immediately approved the full return of my deposit. I provided my bank details to Foxtons on 3 October, and the online portal confirmed that the refund would be processed within 5, 7 working days.

She responded promptly every time I made the inquiry. If you're looking for new properties then I will strongly recommend you to contact Niles. Two months after the end of a short let Foxtons still hadn't returned the deposit and failed to answer all correspondence. No issues or deductions have been suggested; they simply don't respond and I had to raise a dispute under the deposit protection scheme.

GoogleBeware of this agency. Their customer support is disgraceful. Ten months ago we rented a flat through them. We have been cheated. First of all, we were asked to sign a rental agreement that did not seem to include any brake clause. We were unaware of that. Only found out when we had a severe problem in the flat (We suffered from the appearance of rising damp in the bedroom). We raised the issue, waiting for about eight months, and nothing has changed. They sent just four engineers to check the problem. The last one (on February 2021) understood how to fix it, but the property Manager has stopped replying to us since then. Now (that our rent agreement is finishing) they asked for a new inspection. What a pity! They prevented us from leaving and never solved the problem. Not only that, almost three months ago, the fence in our courtyard broke, and despite our requests for help, it is still there broken. In their e-mails, they blame the landlady for these inefficiencies. But in the end, the victims of this whole lousy story are just my husband and me. Therefore, to all those who are looking for a house to rent, beware of this agency. Stay away!NegativeResponsiveness, Quality, Professionalism
