I had my inspection today with Monika and I honestly just wanted to give some feedback… I have only had her as my property manager for a matter of months but cannot fault her work rate, effort or dedication! She is a true asset to Dexter’s, was fabulous to finally meet her and I really hope she sticks around as she is so quick at providing solutions! Clearly someone who really cares about her job and the people she is working for/with… feel very supported and well looked after!

The branch at Kingston is absolutely…

The branch at Kingston is absolutely amazing,very helpful and understanding personnel.Jack from the letting department is absolutely amazing.He was able to guide us through the whole renting procedure and make it very simple to understand as this was our first rent we weren’t quiet sure what the process was.Definitely recommend renting or buying with dexters at the Kingston branch.Staff are very lovely!!!

Everyone knows how hard it can be to deal with all problems and issues coming up here and there in our homes, but it makes a big difference when you have right people working in agencies. Unfortunately we had a bad experience with Aleksandra. We were supposed to view a property but she rescheduled us twice with the reason being that the landlord can’t open the door for us. She then again re scheduled us for another day where the landlord would be able to open the door for us (with confirmation e-mail). We called the office to make sure we were still on and a colleague picked up and said they would let Aleksandra know we called. As it turned out they never did and when we showed up at the property nobody was there and when we called again Aleksandra said that the landlord can’t open on this short notice. Even though she specifically re scheduled us for this day. Also no solution was found and we were not able to view the property or any other property after coming all the way.

I have used this estate agent incompetent stafffor…

I have used this estate agent for letting my property for nearly 4 years. For the first three years, I couldn’t fault them, but the staff have Changed hands and I would not recommend them. The majority of staff are incompetent they make so many mistakes and their Fees are high. I did complain to the director and it was a waste of my time. My last tenancy agreement they failed to put in a break clause and I’m now unable to break free of them unless I give them vast amounts of money. Although I have to ride this out, I will not be using them again in the future. I do not recommend them.

Nikki, Mary-Ann & Myra are absolute HEROES!

I've lived in London for 9 years, and since renting from different agencies, it's been a mixed bag. Dexters has been without a doubt the best by far when it comes to their property management team (SE London team). Myra originally secured the property for us, and throughout our 3 years she was an absolute angel, addressing property maintenance issues quickly whilst communicating perfectly, always on the other end of the phone.I was introduced during our final year to Nikki and Mary-Ann, and the level of care and attention they gave our end of tenancy was second to none. Having worked in lettings myself, I would've killed to have a team like this. Immensely personable, always willing to meet in the middle and always on the other end of the phone.As a tenant, having people of this calibre supporting you is crucial in a city where agents are often careless. Dexters have managed to bring the mindset, care and attention of a small, local agency to a large company. Hats off to them!

Our property is a high net worth property and well in to seven figures. I wouldn’t trust this lot to sell a dolls house for me

Issues with marketing letters

EDIT: I have received a swift resolution to the below issue and so I have amended my review accordingly. Since reaching out to Dexters (which was lovely and helpful) I have since been bombarded by sales post. I asked to be removed from the list and yet the letters keep coming. It's roughly one a fortnight. The latest letter contains inaccurate information about my property being for sale which it is not, with an agent I've never spoken to and at a price its never been listed at. Having already tried to speak directly to them, I'm now feeling ignored and frustrated that I keep having my time wasted.

Terrible experience

The house was handed over to us in disastrous conditions regarding dirt, garbage left by the previous tenants that was never taken away, humidity on the walls, and a bad smell. After several emails completely ignored by the agency, we had to spend our own money to restore the premises to a livable condition (additional professional cleaning and purchase of a dehumidifier).During the rental period, we suffered a water leak that flooded the house. Dexter left us in these conditions for almost a month because, according to them, it was not their responsibility. When we left the house 2 months before the end of the contract out of desperation, the agency, at the end of the rental period, asked to withhold a huge amount from the deposit, accusing us of leaving the house dirty and damaged. Despite the physical and moral damages we suffered, we still cleaned the house before leaving. In conclusion, I highly recommend staying away from such people who, in addition to being unprofessional, unavailable when it comes to their responsibilities, and greedy, only care about the customer when they have to sell, abandoning them immediately after to face problems alone and only making themselves heard to collect payments.
