As a tenant, terrible (not sure about being as a landlord) So I have been a tenant since June 2024. I have had three issues over the period until Nov: curtains, leaking shower booth, and an obsolete cupboard part. I have sent over 30 emails to M&P but none of these issue has been fixed. I have seen three change in maintenance personnel over this time. The maintenance people work separate from the ordinary brokers and apparently they are not being treated well. They tell me the landlord is not giving any go-head for some of the quotes but this is getting ridiculous which prompted me to give this review. It is the duty of the landlord to fix issue for the tenant, and it seems M&P are working soley for the benefit of the landlord but they have to recognize the importance of the tenant. I have been paying my rents ahead of schedule every single time. I have in fact paid the first two months' worth rent in advance before even moving in. They must service the tenants according to the normal practice but this is getting unbearable now. The cupboard in G floor toilet has been kept opened for couple months now and is so embarrassing to my guests whenever they use it. The shower booth on the 1st floor we stopped using it which is very uncomfortable. The curtain on the 1st floor is kept shut broken for over 3 months now and it is so dark and cold, especially in the winter time. All what M&P are doing is blaming it on the landlord who I have no contact with directly and paying 4100 pound a month, this just does not make a single sense. All the maintenance people I have been dealing with at M&P are leaving so there is no consistency of personnel nor do they have any passion about work.

Great experience from the start (which included a realistic evaluation) to completion. I dealt with Oliver in sales who was always supportive and available (even post sales). Oliver went above and beyond with everything (including moving a bed!) to ensure we could progress towards completion. He always kept me updated and was there to answer any questions.

I've used Marsh & Parsons to purchase my flat and Alex Hardy was my estate agent. Alex was extremely helpful, diligent and knowledgeable during the whole process. First of all he didn't waste time showing me flats that didn't fit my specifications (unlike some other agencies..), so properties viewed were worth a visit... He is very knowledgeable and knows every details surrounding purchase of a home, inside out. Alex answered loads of my questions along the way and got good advice on number of topics. Any inquire I had in connection to the vendors, he was quick to reach them and give me answers. It was really good experience working with Alex Hardy and I would highly recommend him if you are looking for a property with Marsh&Parsons.

It was a long haul but Tadas at M&P Barnes finally got a buyer across the line and I am delighted to have sold with them. Tadas remained calm and supportive throughout. The whole team were good at coming back to me about my many and varied enquiries. I went to market at a difficult time so was pleased that the marketing strategies worked. Given the market, the sliding scale on charges was fair and I felt I was given personal service.

Long story short, 5* rating and big Thank you to Perrin. We've just moved into a fab flat in a lovely area let and managed by Marsh & Parsons and we are truly impressed with our agent. We've been browsing London property market loaded with a long list of "must-have" features for our new home and, as usual, on a budget that makes it all a bit challenging. Luckily, one of the agencies we approached happened to be M&P. After an out-of-hours call my phone rang the next day and a polite friendly voice introduced herself as Perrin from M&P. She listened carefully to all I had to wish for and took it all away. About two hours later she called back suggesting they had a property available that might be ticking most of the boxes. And it did indeed. It is not so often than an agent listens to all your requirements let alone actually dealing with most of them individually. Perrin was extremely friendly, flexible and informative throughout the whole process and it wasn’t a straight forward one as the referencing agency simply does not get it how contracting employments works out in the City. Despite the failed reference, Perrin and her manager collated sufficient back-up information to ensure the Landlord that we are good tenants. And there’s the “happy end” when we get the key and are ready to move-in. Big thank you to Perrin for doing her job the proper way and adding a personal touch. Immediately after we sealed the deal we were contacted by our property manager (Chris) who also seems to be professional, friendly and responsive. Fingers crossed we are still up for a 5* rating at check-out.

I have been in London for 5 years and I know how tricky it can be to find the right place to live. In the past I have looked at flats with different real estate agents but I have to say that the level of quality of the Marsh and Parsons branch in Barnes was beyond expectations. The young lady who looks after my case, her name is Aleisha Merchant and I highly recommend her!, was very professional. A flat hunting can be quite a stressful time but honestly I felt very well looked after and I am super pleased with the quality of the flat I found.

I greatly enjoyed my experience of working with Phil and Camilla at Marsh & Parsons Barnes early 2024. They were professional, committed and worked hard. Nothing seemed too much trouble, they were always happy to help on all aspects of moving house, from selling, and even choosing a new home, although I wasn’t moving locally. They also guided me in a supportive and calm manner on the process. Selling a home is a challenge, yet they made the experience seamless and took a lot of the stress out of the move.
