I’m not a habitual Google reviewer, but I was very impressed by the service I received when looking to purchase a property with M&P. My inquiries were handled very professionally by the team and they had an impressive portfolio of houses to fit my admittedly specific requirements. A special mention goes to Catherine B for handling my questions so patiently and with an impressive level of knowledge for a young woman! She will do great things in this business I’m sure. Unfortunately I had to defer property purchase this time due to personal financial difficulties but I will be back in future once my affairs are in order.

We appointed M&P as the sole agent for the sale of our house at the beginning of June 2024. Phil Coombes and his team managed the entire process (which at times got a little hairy!) but the headline is; it took only 3 months from first viewing to completion…! They secured 15 viewings in one open weekend with 5 offers off the back of it. We’d like to thank Phil in particular who goes against the ‘estate agent’ persona - he speaks frankly and honestly with empathy for everyone involved. At times both sides got a little worked up but Phil managed it calmly, with understanding and pragmatism. In summary we highly recommend.

The team here are incredible, Camilla went way beyond and really put her neck on the line to get our purchase completed. Absolutely nothing was too much to ask and she responded instantly, even on her days off. Camilla chased solicitors and freeholders alike and kept us informed at all times. It really felt like she cared and was representing you personally instead of treating you like a cookie cutter business as usual client. It’s definitely the sort of person you want in your corner when things get tough. I’d give more than 5 stars if I could.

We recently sold our Mortlake maisonette. Having spoken to a few estate agents in the area, we decided without hesitation to go with Phil and his team. They did not let us down. Our sale turned into a lengthy one, through no fault of theirs. Dealing with this agent for a rental house in Barnes has been a nightmare, the house ( 164 Castelnau ) that we rented last year had 5K debt in Bills of gas and electricity from the landlord, we couldn’t have access to proper gas credit accounts during 6 months because the Landlord didn’t want to take responsibility of their debt and instead installed a top up system like in council houses, which was taken half of the money we put to pay the his debt, that was the first disappointment with this letting manager that has done nothing to solve the problem and let us deal with this on our own, when they were in charge of managing the property, on top of that the water of the house was contaminated with high levels of every kind of Bacteria, from e.coli to pseudomonas, nitrites, etc… is totally illegal to rent a house without potable water, The landlord never fix the problem whisnis changing the full water pipes system in the house and we had to use Solicitors to get out of this house, now after 3 weeks they don’t want to return our deposit, is draining to deal with agents like this… thanks Gosh now theres list of rough landlords and agents and soon they stop doing this kind of things to decent people

We placed our property on the market with Marsh & Parsons in Barnes in early January 24. This after unsuccessfully attempting to sell our house through another local estate agent beforehand. It was a completely different experience, Phil, Tadas and the whole team were proactive from the start. After agreeing price & terms, potential buyers were introduced and viewings took place almost immediately. An offer was made & accepted in the first week. Exchange & Completion took place within 10 weeks. We were very happy with the speed of this. Throughout the whole process, Phil & his team were both professional & courteous throughout and made the journey easy. The inevitable issues that arise during any buying/selling process were "ironed out" by M&P's in every case. I would highly recommend Phil, his team and M&P's at Barnes if you are considering selling your property. Tadas, our dedicated negotiater was always available/contactable and a pleasure to work with.
